Empty Rack stores.
Super jealous and at the same time very excited of Brothers that have had luck at Marshall’s and TJ Max finding Michael Malul Gent-Cents fragrances. Most of my Rack stores have not restocked after the Christmas rush. Here is a couple of pics from stores in my area. How are your area store holding up?

I’ll admit I don’t even look there anymore. Those stores sell a lot online now.
New imaginary authors fragrance release today
Imaginary authors has released “first peach of the season”. The notes sound very fruity with peach cream and and melon listed as the notes. The marketing indicates that it’s more of a musky skin sent, centered around an erotic adult theme. Imaginary authors confirms that it is a real sent, not on April fools joke, and the fragranceis joining their permanent lineup. I’ve ordered a couple of samples and will follow up with a review once they arrive.

SOTD: Zaharoff Signature Bloom and a Great Book!!!
Wearing Zaharoff Signature Bloom today, and this one really leans into that clean, modern floral-musky lane but still keeps it masculine enough to wear confidently. Right off the top, you get a soft floral lift—nothing sharp or overly sweet. It’s more airy and smooth, almost like a fresh bouquet sitting in a clean room rather than a loud floral blast. There’s a subtle green touch in there that keeps it grounded, and the musk in the base is what really carries it. That musk gives it that “your skin but better” vibe, slightly creamy, slightly warm. Performance is solid but not beast mode: • Projection: Moderate for the first couple of hours, then sits closer • Sillage: Clean scent trail, not loud but noticeable in the right setting • Longevity: 6–8 hours, fades into a soft skin scent This is one of those fragrances that isn’t trying to dominate—it’s more about being put together, approachable, and smooth. Works great in close encounters, the office, or just when you want to smell clean without smelling basic.

Bloom is one I had been missing. Not anymore!
SOTD: Amouage - Line 618
I recently got my hands on samples of the three new Amouage Essences (Line 618, Sequence, and Remain), but it was Line 618 that immediately jumped out as my type of scent, especially as we go into warmer AZ weather. I wore it once to test and knew I had to have a bottle. Not available on discounters yet, but thankfully I was able to find a catch & release from someone to save a little coin. So how does it smell? It opens with a really nice mix of fruity brightness (pineapple/peach/plum) layered over soft incense before settling into a creamy, slightly milky heart with coconut and woods. It then dries down into smooth sandalwood, light leather, and a gentle smoky warmth. While it does have that signature Amouage depth, it’s in a much more wearable, easy-reach style that is going to work surprisingly well in the heat. Performance wise it sits in a really nice spot, about 6–8 hours for me, with a solid push early before it settles into a smooth, personal scent bubble. Not loud, but definitely noticeable. Honestly though, it’s the way it wafts that gets me… I keep catching it throughout the wear and can’t stop smelling myself. I can see where traditional Amouage fans might say it strays a bit from the house’s heavier DNA, but it still feels unique and well-crafted, and I’m all in on it. I love this. Within this release of the Essences collection from Amouage, each scent represents a point in time. Remain as a dot (past), Sequence as a circle (cycle/continuity), and Line 618 as the line (present, movement, progression). That “in motion” concept for Line 618 really comes through here with how it balances freshness and depth. These were Dubai airport exclusives before recently launching in the US which is why they haven’t hit discounters yet. Please, if this scent profile interests you, find a place to sample it. You can 100% smell its depth and complexity, but to me comes across so smooth and can be worn around folks not as into fragrance as we are and still be appealing. I wouldn’t say blind buy worthy at this price point, but if that’s your thing I support it.

@Justin Tillery someone’s gotta carry them to sample. But yeah I wouldn’t blind buy these unless that’s your thing and you score a deal you could easily flip if things didn’t go your way.
Sultani Arabian Oud
Took the day off due to a dr appt, so figured I would wear something fresh on this 80 degree day. Landed on this fresh masterpiece of a fragrance. This goes on fresh with a tiny bit more than a hint of fruitiness. That just smells so nice. After a few minutes this dries down to a comforting clean white T-shirt scent that lasts all day. It won’t fail to lift your spirits. This is a more mature men’s scent though. It is a bit elevated from most designer scents of a similar nature. Took me awhile to get into this house, but I am a big fan now and want so many more. Stay smelling great my brothers.

Huge fan of Sultani. It’s nuclear clean shirt smell. I’ll even layer it under things like Blue Talisman Extrait to pump up the volume a bit.
