What are some creative ways you've rewarded your kids?
I tried something new as a reward for my son trying out his first Jiu Jitsu class. He asked for this print specifically. What have you tried?

This is a really broad question. Rewards were age, gender and interest dependent. When they were little a hug or snuggle could be enough. As they aged they wanted sweets or stuff. Stuff might be something small like a nail polish or a credit towards the shopping allowance. We also used movies, locations (going to the beach, zoo, etc.) and sleep overs.
What are the last three things...
I have a question if you don't mind taking a minute to respond: What are the last 1-3 things you've searched on YouTube to learn how to do?

@Ryan Morency So cool. <<< wanders off muttering "I do NOT need another toy. I do not need another toy. I do not...>>

@Daniel Sloan All metal. No plastic. Likely why they've lasted since 1964. I can rebuild or replace with a newer version.
What Spring Projects are you planning?
Curious if you get "spring fever" like we do....during February and March we are "done" with winter and can't wait to start planting our garden. Among our spring projects, we are planning on planting our garden, I really want to make a wood bench out of a log we cut two years ago, and I want to get our grass looking good. How about you?

Cleaned the condenser coils on my hvac unit. Saved $350 doing it myself. Staring at the newly arrive bottle jack and building up the nerve to replace the porch column plinths. Making rodent and bug baits and traps. Need to clean the gutters. Strip out the growth behind the shed and lay a barrier down to discourage more. A garage purge and reorganizing needs to happen....
Scavenged Patio
I am a dumpster dining scavenger and it makes my frugalista heart so happy when it all works out. In this case I ended up with a lovely stone patio. The stone tiles were rescued from a pool hard-scaper who was tossing them (last pic) and the rest was from counter top places. Yep, the granite kitchen counter top folks have to pay by weight to have their dumpster emptied and they were more than happy to help me load my vehicle with their scrap. I recommend asking before helping yourself. Only one place told me know. And one place, that was behind a locked gate, let me in and helped me load. At another place I was in the parking lot when a huge sheet of stone feel off the loading dock. Some of the larger pieces in my build came from their accident. Once everything was in place I gave it 2 weeks to seat itself with the help of the weather. Then I went back with small bits to fill the cracks (pic 4). Dumped a bag of quick-krete on it, and swept into into place then used the hose to 'rain' it all into place to set. Oh and the dumpsters of these places often have whole bath counters with sinks and faucets. My outdoor garden sink as a rescue.

@Robert Chan That is cool. I love that moss is growing there. Ours is full sun = no chance of a lovely most 'carpet'. My base: weed barrier, pea gravel then sand that I tamped then screed. After the stones were set, it was the quik-kret that I swept into all the cracks (adding bits of stone, marbles, etc) than used the hose to wet. Its been solid. I'm in the south so without that the weed and invasive vines would have taken over.

@Charlene Atkins lololol Thanks. I did end up loving the way the patio came out. My husband jokes me but is also thankful for my frugalista ways.
How would you fix this issue?
Our plexiglass came out of our neighborhood library door because it's been so cold. It took me a while to come up with a solution. What would you have done instead?

Nice job. I was thinking molding. Seems there is always some scrap laying around.
