Introduction
Hello everyone, first of all I have to apologize because I’m not sure if I put this post in the right place. I couldn’t find any other introductions so far. So I hope this is ok. My background might be a little different than yours, so I want to tell you a little bit about myself: I’m 52 years old and I’m from Germany (so please excuse my not so fluent expressions sometimes… My English is pretty good, though. So there shouldn’t be any issues coming up). What’s making my situation a little different is that I have severe Cerebral Palsy, I’m sitting in an automatic wheelchair and can only use my left hand to do things. I do have caregivers around 24/7. 2018 I discovered that I can do loom knitting by myself after building some constructions to put the loom on. A few years later my lovely partner Marco (you will hear more from him very soon) bought me the king size Addi. We had to realize pretty quickly that there’s no way for me to use it on my own. So Marco and I decided to addi together. We are still very much at the beginning of our addi journey. Only thing we did so far was this:

Welcome to the fam! Loving the hat. You did lovely job! May I ask the name Of the yarn? It is fabulous!
Good afternoon from a windy UK
I just had to share ...... I've had several attempts at panels and they always ended up a disaster with dropped and tucked stitches at the sides. I tried again today with thinner yarn and didn't switch to panel mode. I found it much easier and it knitted up well. I need more practice with slightly thicker yarn which I'm sure will test my patience. I'm happy for now to have completed one without too much cursing 😆

Good morning and happy Easter! This looks pretty good to me! I also do not use panel mode when I make panels. I do, however, use the stoppers which work very well. To help with the edge stitches, gently hold your yarn to give it a slight tension and when it starts to pull on your hand, then let it go and that will help that turn to catch a lot better. I hope that made sense!
