🔧 Apprentice Reality Check 👇
Stop trying to rush jobs. I see it all the time: You want to be quick… but your work ends up messy, rushed, and full of mistakes. Here’s the truth: Speed comes AFTER you get good — not before. Focus on: ✔️ Clean pipework ✔️ Proper jointing ✔️ Understanding the system Not: ❌ Cutting corners ❌ Guessing ❌ “That’ll do” work The best engineers aren’t the fastest… They’re the ones people trust to do it right the first time 👊 💬 Be honest: What’s one thing you’re still struggling with right now?

💥 Be honest… what can you actually do on your own right now?
If I sent you out tomorrow solo—no help—what could you confidently handle? - Full bathroom install - Radiators - Basic pipework - Fault finding - Or would you be guessing your way through it? No judgement—but this is how you figure out where you’re really at. Drop it below 👇 If you’re unsure on anything, that’s exactly what we need to work on next.
💥 Let’s see where everyone’s actually at…

🚨 Apprentice Reminder – This Matters 🚨
Quick one for all my plumbing & heating apprentices 👇 If you’re losing pressure on a system… don’t just top it up and walk away. That’s not fixing the problem — that’s hiding it. This week I came across: 🔧 A leaking auto air vent on a boiler 🔧 A leaking radiator valve (tenant had already noticed it) Both small issues on their own… but together? ➡️ Constant pressure loss ➡️ System inefficiency ➡️ Bigger problems down the line This is what separates average from top engineers: 💡 Don’t just do the job — understand the system 💡 Always ask: *why is this happening?* 💡 Listen to the customer/tenant — they often spot issues early Anyone can repressurise a system… But a proper engineer finds the fault and fixes it right 👊 💬 Question for you: What’s the most common issue YOU keep seeing on jobs right now? Let’s help each other level up.

🔥 Apprentice Check-In 🔧
Alright team — quick one for all my plumbing & heating apprentices 👇 If you’re on site this week, I want you focusing on the basics done **properly**, not quickly: ✔️ Clean pipework (no messy cuts or burrs) ✔️ Solid joints (no “that’ll do” fittings) ✔️ Accurate measurements (measure twice, cut once — always) ✔️ Respect the system you’re working on (understand it, don’t just copy) Remember — anyone can rush a job… but not everyone can do it right. The lads who stand out in this trade are the ones who: 💡 Ask questions 💡 Take pride in their work 💡 Learn something new every single day 💬 Drop a comment: What’s ONE thing you’ve improved on this week? Let’s keep levelling up 👊
