Give a shout out to someone you learned something from. It can be anybody, tell us who they are and what you learned from them. Share the knowledge. Example: I have a real estate investing mentor, Bob Meister. I was doing fix and flips, You know buying a clapped out house, fixing it and selling it for a profit. I was doing the majority of the work, killing myself trying to find deals, finance them, fix them up etc. At this point I was doing a house about every 2 months. One day Bob and I had a conversation as I was whining about my hectic life. Here is the gist of that convo... Bob: "How many guys in this city can swing a hammer?" Me: "Probably 100,000." Bob: "How many people can find a deal, analyze it, buy it and finance it?" Me: "Maybe 500" Bob: "Does making the deal or fixing the house make your more money?" Me: "Obviously, making the deal." Bob: "So you need to focus on your ability to find deals and outsource the fix up. Focus on your unique genius and outsource everything else." I took his information to heart. I started outsourcing the fix up part. I went from roughly 1 deal every 2 months to about a deal a week. Of course out sourcing cut into my profit about 15% but I increased output from 6 houses a year to about 45 deals a year. I made less per deals but more overall and with less physical labor. The point is "Outsource everything but your unique genius." I have applied this to my marketing agency, mortgage company basically everything I do in my life and it has exponentially increased my yields.
