Body Doubling & Co-Working
Have you heard of this productivity hack for people with ADHD? This is precisely why I go to Starbucks a few times a week or why I get more work done with my front door to my house open. I'd love to offer some co-working sessions to anyone who needs focused work time. I'm thinking one in the afternoon and another one in the evening on a different day. Would this help you? I know it would help me.

@Marianne Suarez Sabugo ok I definitely have some focus work I need to get done. What does your Thursday or Friday of this week look like and your Monday of next week look like?

Who Wants to Test a ChatGPT Extraction Prompt With Me?
I'm working on extracting the juicy bits from my chat sessions over the past year. I want to capture how I've grown and evolved. Plus, I want to start backing up my sessions for my own personal peace of mind. I recently started using the Main Branch tools to capture my sessions in a way that will allow me not to have to repeat myself. Instead, every day my sessions with Claude pick up where we left off, document where we've gone and what we've done together. Main Branch is essentially a running repository of my thinking... it's storing my sessions as structured files, tracking how my ideas evolve over time, and letting Claude reference that history so each new session builds on the last instead of starting from scratch. I'm creating my thinking brain inside Claude Code. YES... I am still thinking for myself. YES, I am still directing where this goes. So tonight I created a prompt to start creating summary handoffs so I have full context and details of sessions that I've been working in. I've attached the PDF prompt that you can upload to any chat session you want summarized. I also added this afterwards: - Things I keep returning to - Repeated tensions or preferences - Signals about how I think or decide This will extract your patterns and your thinking model. If you want to provide feedback, I'd love to hear it. What did your chat say about the summary handoff prompt? When you put that summary into a new chat session, were you able to start from where you left off in the previous session? (yes, this is my affiliate link and I might earn money if you join)

@Fabrice Boulben have you worked on ChatGPT for a few hours within one session? Even if you walk away & come back to it later? I consider myself a heavy user. Do you use Chat for long sessions?

@Fabrice Boulben Have you ever lost a chat will all the juicy details in it? I have. It got named something that didn't match what came out of it. This prompt will give you a deep summary to handoff to a fresh chat session when you find that you are reminding Chat about things that happened at the beginning of the session too much. And this was not an ignorant question. :D We just said it two different ways. :)
Repost : Community Ascension : December 2024
I want to share about community ascensions. As an aside, there are many ways to look at the model. This is another way. I've been on several calls over the last few days with owners who are struggling to keep their focus on one or the other community while talking strategy. I hope these analogies will help you consider what you are offering and to who. "FREE" community - First way to look at this is like the community you choose to live in. I grew up in a small community where everybody knew everybody. I hated it. Everyone assumes to know everyone's business and/or really does know everyone's business. So when I could, I moved to a bigger community. And when I got the chance, I moved somewhere that was a better fit overall for my personality. Phoenix - dry heat, very hot, Western America, chill vibes, active lifestyle. YOUR "free" community is a container for the people who match your vibe. They chose to be in your world. They want to learn with you and they want to learn from you. You're doing cool shit. I want to learn or do that cool shit. Let's do cool shit together in this community. You see them in the park. You wave as they are bringing their rubbage bins in from the curb or getting their mail from the box. You see them at the grocery or the stuff market. Think same zip code. We're meeting at the park for the annual picnic and we help each other out with stuff. We're hanging out in the community. "PREMIUM" community - Now we call each other on the phone - one on one conversations. Maybe you come over to my house to help with a project. I go to your house for a project. Maybe we're inviting families to each other's house for a backyard BBQ. We call each other friends and we're cool like that. We're still learning together but now we have projects we do together. "PREMIUM PREMIUM" community - We're best freaking friends. My bullshit is your bullshit. Your bullshit is my bullshit. I know where bodies are buried and we have the stash for bail money. American reference (sorry expats & foreigners) think Good Girls. We are hardly ever seen apart because literally... BESTIES. And secrets have to remain inside jokes because nobody else will probably get it. We've been through these other stages together and now, we just think too much alike. We're going on vacations and spending holidays together because we have now become family. My kids call you Uncle Dilbert even though your name is Ruth because of some crazy game night mishap in Clue.

More.... Also, I have heard so many of you now calling it a “premium” community. I get it. Nobody wants to hear it referred to as “paid”. I want you to stop it! Find a new and more creative way to describe your gift of your knowledge to this world. Who are you serving in each community? It’s way more than… “this one is where I give away free value and this one is where I exchange the energy of financial gain for knowledge”. Your members deserve more. You deserve more. YOU are a gift to the world in this time, in this space! Don’t you lessen the gift you are by measuring it with the energy of money. 🥰🚀🦋 Look how far we have come! Now we have all 3 of these communities inside ONE community. Wowzers!!
Skool Affiliate Updates
A few things I learned about Skool affiliates this week..... The dashboard will adjust the order with the order of communities in your settings menu. After multiple messages back and forth with support (some of the best support I've ever seen with a platform like this), it has become apparent that a LOT of work needs to be done to the backend of the platform for better transparency and accountability on this program. That's all I'll say at this moment. Consider this a change log. When I get updates, I'll update this.

@Lisa Vanderveen I'm really frustrated with the answers I got. And makes me really concerned about tracking this.

@Lisa Vanderveen well... I'm going to worry for these reasons.... I really want to start promoting other communities. From my conversation with support, they aren't able to see details behind the scenes like I was expecting so those referrals could disappear and I wouldn't have any recourse to get them back. You know what that means??? SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH to Joe!!
This Week's Challenge
Do you interact with every notification you get? I unfollowed a whole bunch of people and then started a cohort where I had 15 new people to follow. That's also when I realized how many notifications were going unanswered. Sure, I would go read the post but I wouldn't always interact with it. Well.... this week ... the next 7 days, I have decided to go comment on every notification that I receive. 😬 We'll see how long I can last. I'm not sure if it's full moon energy or the shift in the planets or just I don't wanna... but I have not been motivated to be on Skool the last few days. It's like it's over stimulating. So, I'm going to make a point to be intentional. Do you answer every notification? Do you interact? Wanna join me?

@Heidi Reagan I just went through who I was following and cleared the list. It actually felt really good.

@Heidi Reagan you can do that. Go into the group or select a notification. (On desktop not mobile) Then go back to notifications and choose “just this group” then you can scroll for relevant or @mentions. Then go back to notifications -> just this group -> mark all as read. It will clear only that group’s notifications. Hope that helps.
