Happy Easter šŸ£šŸ˜‡šŸ„°
🌼 Happy Easter, everyone! 🐣 Whether you’re celebrating today or simply enjoying a well-deserved break… this is your reminder to slow down, recharge, and reset. In English, we often say: šŸ‘‰ ā€œTake a breather.ā€ Easter is a perfect time to: ✨ pause ✨ reflect ✨ and come back stronger As language learners, remember — growth doesn’t only happen when you’re studying hard… It also happens when your mind is rested and ready. So today: āœ” Spend time with people you love āœ” Enjoy good food āœ” And give your brain a break We’ll be back to learning soon — refreshed and sharper šŸ’Ŗ

Public Holiday in Australia-What about You?
Good afternoon everyone, It’s a public holiday here in Australia šŸ‡¦šŸ‡ŗ (Not sure about the rest of the world šŸŒ) So today, I’m choosing to: šŸ‘‰ take it easy šŸ‘‰ slow down šŸ‘‰ recharge my batteries Because sometimes… the best thing you can do for your English is to hit the pause button — not stop, just pause. šŸ’” Real English isn’t always about studying hard. It’s about living, noticing, and using simple language in real life. šŸ‘‰ Your turn: Is it a holiday where you are? Or are you still busy? Write 1 sentence using one of these: - take it easy - slow down - recharge your batteries - hit the pause button Let’s keep it real. Let’s keep simple! šŸ˜‡

@Serena Tomasella Nice message, Serena—clear and warm, and your use of however is strong šŸ‘ Here’s a polished version: Corrected version: It’s a holiday here in Italy too, but I’m working today; however, I’ll finally recharge my batteries at home this Monday for Easter! I’m looking forward to slowing down and enjoying time with my family. Quick feedback: - āœ… Great use of linking language (but, however) - āœ… Natural expression: recharge my batteries - šŸ”§ Small fixes: slow down → slowing down (after ā€œlooking forward toā€) enjoying with my family → enjoying time with my family Keep it up—this sounds very natural and expressive šŸŒæšŸ˜‡

@Pedro Lustosa Nice one, Pedro—this sounds very natural and fluent šŸ‘ Polished version: Since it’s a holiday in Brazil, I decided to hit the pause button and enjoy some time with my family. Quick feedback: - āœ… Great use of Since to show reason - āœ… Natural idiom: hit the pause button - šŸ”§ Small improvement: enjoy time → enjoy some time (more natural in English) - Overall, excellent sentence—clear, natural, and expressive šŸ‘šŸ˜‡
