An Amazing Call with Pamela 🤗
I LOVE how this happens all the time here on Skool 🤌🏻🥹 @Pamela Lynch and I met in @James Bansbach’s group, exchanged a few messages in the comments and decided to hop on a call to chat in “person” 💬 Thank you Pamela for getting up so early for our conversation 🤗🫶🏻💜 It was absolutely soul feeding, value packed and full of sisterhood energy! I am so grateful for our connection and cannot wait to see where it will take us!

Why Writing by Hand Changes Your Brain
During our co-writing session today, I was reminded of the difference between writing by hand and writing on a laptop. I journal by hand and move to my laptop when I write for social media. This morning, I filled three pages in my notebook on this very topic. Now I am typing on my laptop to share it with you. I appreciate when research validates what many of us intuitively experience. Studies continue to explore the cognitive differences between handwriting and typing. Typing can be faster. It’s efficient and practical, but it doesn’t stimulate the brain in the same way. You’re using a small amount of finger movement and typing with your thumbs on your phone is even less. Then there’s the distraction factor with notifications and the temptation to check social responses. Conversely, handwriting involves more of your body. The pen moves across the page while your eyes track the words forming. It’s a more integrated experience. Research supports this difference. Scientific American has reported that handwriting activates broader neural networks in the brain than typing, including areas tied to memory, language, and sensory processing. Studies comparing handwritten and typed notes consistently show stronger memory retention with handwriting. Because writing by hand is slower, it encourages summarizing and synthesizing rather than transcribing, which deepens encoding. A 2020 study in Frontiers in Psychology further found that handwriting increases connectivity between brain regions associated with learning and memory. There is also evidence from developmental neuroscience that forming letters by hand, especially cursively, strengthens neural pathways linked to reading and language in ways that typing does not fully replicate. For me, both have their place. Pen and paper allow ideas to surface and take form. The laptop helps refine and share them. What is your preference while writing? P.S. Will you be practicing cursive writing with me?

All while making borscht soup and having fun
What do you do while watching the Skool News? I normally sit and take notes but today it was a chilly Canadian winter day ... and one thing led to another. A coffee date with someone I met networking. A chill --> making Borscht Soup --> watching Skool News Skool News #46 - How To Get Members (Traffic Sources) highlighted, not only traffic sources, but the importance of giving before you take, contributing to other communities, and making authentic connections. https://www.skool.com/skoolers/skool-news-46-how-to-get-members-traffic-sources Have you watched it yet? What was your biggest takeaway? P.S. This video was inspired by our fun walk along the beach. Thought you might enjoy seeing my fun side. I love the freedom of taking a Friday "off." Isn't that the freedom we all talk about?

The Law of Love
There is a generosity of Spirit that is alive on Skool, and I felt it in @James Bansbach's community as we gathered for a writing session in his "A Journey into the Heart of Healing" series. After writing about the Law of Reciprocity in James’ community, I thought about The Law of Love and found this post from Dec. 21, 2020. You are always at choice to view your life differently. Are you open to the possibility that you are limitless? If you are willing to view life through that lens, you will see synchronicities that support that perspective. The Law of Love is a powerful force that is always available to you and delivers, whether you choose to create through struggle or synchronicity. Life loves you so much that it simply says yes to your intention, your desire, your dominant thoughts and emotions. As you trust in the Love that is you, you begin to see the synchronicities that support your new viewpoint. You are always creating. Do you wish to make a life built on the foundation of struggle or synchronicity? The invitation is to see life as filled with new possibilities. Are you ready for the possibility that you are limitless? From the Universal Love Archives P.S. After losing my corporate job at Wiley, I became a Certified Law of Attraction Life Coach. I studied Universal Laws, emotional mastery, and advanced numerology for a decade. I believe we are all One and that we see reality through a unique lens shaped by our life experiences, traumas, and celebrations. We are mirrors for one another, reflecting the brilliance and blind spots we cannot see in ourselves. The wizardry continues in James’ Premium group on Saturday. Will you be joining us?
