AutoDM or Email? What makes the best welcome?
Okay, so first, thanks @Marcin Hakemer-Fernandez (and indirectly @Sarah Hankins ) for this post with a breakdown of how to include hyperlinks in a DM. Super cool. I'm about to invite a core group of Founding Members into my new (and not yet open to the public) Membership. I thought it would be fun to try the AutoDM feature to welcome them, and include a hyperlink to my 'start here' content. But I've heard another approach which is to not use an AutoDM, but instead connect their email to my email list and trigger a Welcome message, via email to their In Box. Pros and cons? Tips and tricks? Best case, worst case? Educate me, people! P.S. I love the simplicity and elegance of the DM + link right inside the platform. But I'm pretty sure most of my FMs are not currently Skool users, but very familiar with hearing from me via email, if that's something to consider.
