You can use it as a personal assistant by texting yourself, or set it up as a dedicated bot. It handles group chats (just tag it), images, files, and formats text perfectly. How to update: go in Settings > Update Open Self Update > Select version > Restart and Update If you upgrade from v.0.9.8 and previous versions, open your terminal: macOS/Linux: curl -fsSL https://bash.agent-zero.ai | bash Windows: irm https://ps.agent-zero.ai | iex Follow the install script flow and reuse your a0/usr data folder. I’m really enjoying these observability and memory plugins. Paired with the model switching system, they let me choose the right model for each job and monitor performance along the way. Yes, two releases today. v1.4 and v1.5. Here's what matters most: - Agents self-correct now: Malformed tool calls no longer crash the flow. The agent tries to fix them on its own. - a0_small: a new compact prompt set that cuts token usage from ~10k to ~2.5k. If you've been running Agent Zero on smaller or cheaper models, this is a game changer. - WebSocket rewrite: the entire real-time layer has been rebuilt. Faster, more stable, more secure. From v1.4: • New onboarding flow for missing API keys • Model switcher directly in the chat input • Plugin scans now run in parallel (much faster) How to update (watch the video) or follow these steps: Go in Settings > Update tab > Self Update > Open Self Update > Select version > Click "Restart and Update"

I highly recommend giving this video a watch. The stats he shares are mind-blowing: Big companies wasted $285 billion on AI last year simply because they don't know how to actually build with it. The biggest takeaway? Only 0.05% of the world actually knows how to use AI to produce real results—like asking AI how to build something and having it do the heavy lifting for you. This video perfectly validates everything we're doing here with Agent Zero. The world is splitting into "consumers" and "producers," and by learning to build autonomous agents, we are positioning ourselves in that top 0.05% of producers. I haven't fully mastered my A0 setup yet, but seeing this data makes the learning curve totally worth it. Keep building. (P.S. Please excuse the language in the video's thumbnail.
