I was already quite aware of the issue of microplastics, thanks to Gittermary Johansen, a content creator I follow who focuses on environmental awareness and the impact of various productions. But I had never analyzed it specifically from the perspective of fertility. This documentary is based on the research of Dr. Shanna Swan, an epidemiologist who has been raising awareness about the link between microplastics and infertility for over 20 years.

You know how in the welcome video I talked about pink lemonade and chocolate chip cookies? Actually I don't remember if I specified chocolate chip... But now you know. So I have this idea to find the best chocolate chip cookie recipe so that as part of the onboarding each new member of our community can bake their own cookies and enjoy them as if they had just walked into our Cottage! So i was thinking... How would you all feel about deciding on a date and time, and jumping on a video call together to bake cookies? We can try different recipes and whichever one turns out the best can be our official Cycle Circle Cookie recipe! We can also get pink lemonade and enjoy it while we bake!

When I was in my third year of University I figured out what my true passion was: Women's Health. Specifically: BIRTHS! But I was an international student, I had fewer opportunities than my peers, and every step I took seemed to take me farther and farther from my dream.... I moved back from the US to my home country (Chile) and my nursing degree was not honored. On top of that, Nurses are not the ones to deal with birth and babies in Chile... It seemed I had made all the wrong choices... After spending the last 3 years helping other women get pregnant and connect with their Cycles, I finally made a decision. I'm going back to school! 🥳🙈 Hopefully in 2027, maybe in 2028... I don't know how long this journey will be, but I'm not in a hurry, I'm just happy that I get a do-over. I will tell you more about this once I have more clarity. But I'm so excited and hopeful for the future!
