When are you most productive?
Quick question for everyone ๐Ÿ‘‡ When do you feel most productive during the day? ๐ŸŒ… Morning โ˜€๏ธ Afternoon ๐ŸŒ™ Night And why do you think that is? Curious to see the different answers.

My most productive moments are when Iโ€™m deep in a topic I care about, pulling it apart, intellecting( my gallop strength showing up here), then turning it into something for my Substack, my podcast, or a story Iโ€™m โœ๏ธ
You donโ€™t have an action problem. You have a belief problem!
You KNOW what to doโ€ฆSo why arenโ€™t you doing it? This week on YAP, Nir Eyal broke it down simply: ๐Ÿ‘‰ Your beliefs drive your behavior. No belief = no action. No matter how much discipline you try to force. This moment stopped me: I said, โ€œIโ€™m always late.โ€ He paused and said:๐Ÿ‘‰ โ€œCareful. Whatever follows โ€˜I amโ€™ becomes your identity.โ€ That hit hard! Because I realizedโ€ฆ I was reinforcing the exact behavior I wanted to change. If youโ€™re stuck, try this: Stop asking โ†’ โ€œWhat should I do?โ€ Start asking โ†’ โ€œWhat do I believe about myself?โ€ Thatโ€™s where the real work is. Go watch this episode if youโ€™re tired of knowing what to doโ€ฆ but still not doing it. ๐ŸŽง Listen on Apple ๐ŸŽง Listen on Spotify ๐Ÿ“บ Watch on YouTube Listen, learn, profit.

I loved it, Hala. Honestly, it hit differently for me because Byron Katieโ€™s work is something I studied as part of my coaching certification. So when I watched the interview, I wasnโ€™t just listening as a fan. I was watching someone take a methodology I know really well and show it applied in real life. He showed what it actually looks like to run your beliefs through that process and come out the other side. Great interview. You gave him the space to go deep and he delivered, but Iโ€™m a huge fan.

My Unexpected Journey to The Joy Shift Podcast
When Hala Taha invites you to show up, you show up. Hereโ€™s a little about my path and why I do what I do. At 52 former CPA, actual Medical Office Manager in the middle of COVID, I started writing romance novels. I had zero plan. I just needed somewhere to put my creativity and it turned into five published books under my pen name Nikki Kiley. Honestly? I fell in love with telling stories about women figuring themselves out. Then I realized I was in the middle of my own. I took Alyssa Nobrigaโ€™s Coaching Mastery Certification Course (sheโ€™s also the host of Healing & Human Potential Podcast) and got certified as a life coach and kept meeting the same woman over and over. Different face, different professions, but the same feeling. Successful on paper. Quietly wondering if there was something more meant for her. I knew that woman. I had been that woman. So I started The Joy Shift podcast because that story deserved a voice.

Exactly that, Bill. I spent years feeling like I had built a good life but kept asking myself โ€” is this it? The podcast is my way of creating a space for women in midlife who are quietly asking the same question. Not because something is wrong, but because they know thereโ€™s more. Sharing the messy, real version of that journey feels like the most honest thing I can do.
Whatโ€™s ONE skill you want to level up next week?
Hey YAP Fam! Iโ€™m curiousโ€ฆ whatโ€™s one skill youโ€™re focusing on improving next week? Whether itโ€™s something big like mastering AI or perfecting your time management, I want to hear about it! For me, Iโ€™m 100% focused on AI and setting up my "second brain." I'm organizing my task system where my inbox and Slack are monitored for tasks twice a day, so I stay on top of things. Plus, I can give AI voice directions to draft responses to emails, and I just tweak the drafts in my inbox. Itโ€™s massively improved my productivity. As a busy CEO, training a new Chief of Staff has been a challenge, but this AI setup has honestly been a lifesaver! Letโ€™s all share our goals and hold each other accountable ๐Ÿ’ช Drop yours below! ๐Ÿ‘‡

Thank you Hala. Iโ€™ll let you lead. Whatever format works best for your community, Iโ€™m in. Whether thatโ€™s a post, a thread, or however you typically feature members, just point me in the right direction and Iโ€™ll follow your lead. I want to add value here, not noise. ๐Ÿ˜Š Much less be spammy.
