Let's get a chain going on why we started playing guitar! For me I really wanted to learn a song called "The day that I met you" by Matilda Mann and she posted a tutorial of it on her YouTube channel so I told myself I'd learn it within 2 months. I did it in about 3 weeks and from the on I've been hooked 😁

Hi people✌️🙂 with which guitar or maybe also guitars are you currently playing? Which tonewoods are they using and are you happy with them? I currently have an Faith Naked Venus but am looking for a second one, a Furch Blue Gc - CM, because the Faith is making a bit of trouble. I just switched from Elixirs to John Pearse phosphor bronze on my Martin and love the sound but find them very squeaky. Might have to go back to coated strings. Would love to know what everyone else is using.

This is kind of related to my question on how to hold guitar properly, but I wondered if anyone had advice for how to best hold guitar to play bar chords. I can play bar chords, but I seem to have to move the guitar around a lot to be able to play them up and down the neck. I don't see others doing that so I must be doing something wrong.

Hello, I have an acoustic grand auditorium size guitar and I seem to struggle with finding a comfortable position to sit and play. Anyone have advice on how you prefer to sit and play? Use a specific kind of stool or chair? Use a foot stool? Other? Thanks for any comments.
