Could perfectionism be what's holding you back?
Just got off an awesome call with @Santiago Correa! We didn't know if we were going to make it happen, he had a scheduling conflict, and then I had it on my calendar for 10 minutes later than he had scheduled, so we were super crunched for time. And you know what? We had the call anyway! He gave me an update of some changes he made, shared some concerns he had, and I was able to provide actionable feedback. @Santiago Correa I love that you take notes during our calls!!! All that to say we made the best of the time we had and actually had some really amazing takeaways and next steps that have both of us really excited! After the call it hit me. Old me would have just suggested we reschedule but I've learned the hard way that you have to make the most of every opportunity and sometimes opportunity disguises itself as less than ideal circumstances. How are your calls going? Are you waiting for ideal circumstances? Who told you that you have to be perfect? I'm not saying be laissez faire about everything but sometimes you just have to do things imperfectly and refine later or have that call with less than ideal circumstances so you can keep the momentum building and then schedule the follow-up.

Yes, perfectionism can feel like preparation, but progress comes from showing up anyway. On day 2 of 3 day summit, while fitting in attending another summit as well. Just taking action, getting as much done as possible. 👍
Community Audits and Co Working Calls
Hey Admin Skool! I've reached out to a few of you about scheduling a community audit call and getting free feedback. While doing so I had this thought. Would it be helpful to host a Community Audit/Co-Working Call on the calendar? The time would basically just be open to whoever wants to jump on and have a second set of eyes take a look over their community and get feedback AND/OR just jump on so you have someone to work alongside while you work on your community. I know this would help me from both an accountability and a brainstorming perspective. It's nice to have someone to bounce ideas off of. Who's down?

What happens when no one likes or comments?
So I made this post last night. It’s all me, no AI, and it took me maybe 10-15 minutes to write…granted it was late at night so I wasn’t exactly in peak mental state. Woke up today, did my morning routine and checked into Skool…0 likes 0 comments… What’s my point? I’m used to this but even for me it still stings a little. So imagine what your members feel like. What happens when no one likes or comments on their posts? What do they think? More importantly: what do they feel? One key role of a good admin is to help people feel seen, valued/appreciated. One of the simplest ways of doing this is with a like and/or comment. What if there post isn’t that great? The beauty of being an admin is that you have a greater level of perceived authority which can be leveraged to coach and help boost a member’s posts! Mods in Skoolers often reach out to me letting me know there may be something I need to revise in my post and I am incredibly appreciative! Have you ever had a post that got no likes or comments? How did it make you feel?

Some members might think, maybe I don’t belong here. As admins a curious question, or a quick thanks for sharing can be the difference between someone retreating back into lurk mode or leaning in and finding their voice.

@Hector Febres great suggestion, that's a simple way to stay intentional about following up when there’s more time.👍
Do This Sunday… and Your Entire Week Will be BETTER
Hello Admin Skoolers! I have received permission from our leader, @Hector Febres to cross-post this original article I wrote, from my community, The 28 Day Action Plan™ What I am sharing here I is my personal system for Sunday night prep to keep my 7-person, multigenerational household running so that our week runs on time efficiently, maximizing opportunities to connect, enjoy our family, and get things done, while minimizing stress and forgetting things. **PARENT NOTE: I have younger kids and older kids. I make each of them responsible for individual age appropriate items on this list, I am not doing all this myself.** It starts Sunday afternoon. After church is over, we have had our lunch and some play time outside. I set aside some time before dinner to prep for the coming week. FORWARD PLANNING is the secret ingredient. Investing time in Sunday prep gives you HOURS of time back during the week. Here’s what I lock in every Sunday. This doesn't have to be done all in one block. Very often I sprinkle it in throughout the day. 1. I REVIEW MY ENTIRE WEEK BEFORE MONDAY MORNING HITS. (10 min) I grab a cup of tea. Then: check my calendar, email, text chains, kids' school schedules, appointments, weather. I scan for what’s coming up. Flag conflicts that have arisen since Friday. Fix them. 2. I REMOVE MONDAY MORNING DECISIONS. (20 - 60 min) My clothes and my kids' school uniforms for Monday and Tuesday are prepared. If needed, I do a load of laundry. I make sure I can locate my wallet, purse, keys. If they're not by the door (in their zone) I put them there. Monday's shoes and bags are prepped and put by the door. Homework status - checked and verified for the kids. Kids backpacks cleared out, checked, and by the door. I check my car for fuel level / charge level and take action if needed. 3. I RESET MY HOME ENVIRONMENT. (10 - 30 min) Kitchen cleared. Sinks empty. Trash out.

Your Sunday system is such a powerful example of how intentional prep creates peace and productivity all week long. The “forward planning” principle works, with simple, doable steps that make a huge difference.
