It comes from asking in the right order ā so the mind reveals its own structure..... Below is a ready-to-use protocol I share with advanced coaches and facilitators. Itās practical, humane, and moves from surface ā system ā signal ā self. Use it verbatim or adapt the language to your own rhythm. āļø 0) Set the Field (30 seconds) āLetās explore this at a few levels ā surface, structure, desire, identity. Iāll go slow; you can take your time.ā Then pause. Breathe. Let answers arrive before the next question. šŖ 1) Dissociation & Awareness ā move the problem out of the person Goal: Reduce threat; increase perspective. 1. āWhen you look back, what was the problem that brought you here?ā 2. āHow do you know it was a problem ā from where you stand now?ā 3. āIf you described it as something that used to happen, how would you put it?ā 4. āWhat changed in you just by saying āit wasā instead of āit isā?ā š§© Coach note: The word āwasā quietly separates identity from symptom and lowers defenses. š§ 2) Structure & Logic ā see the machine, not the mess Goal: Map triggers, loops, and payoffs without judgment. 1. āHow was that a problem for your results, relationships, or wellbeing?ā 2. āWhat tends to happen right before it happens?ā 3. āWhat reliably follows after?ā 4. āIf that pattern had a positive intent, what would it be protecting or providing?ā 5. āWhat part of you benefits from keeping a piece of it a little longer?ā 6. āWhat meaning did you make about yourself when this used to happen?ā
