Feature requests?
Hey guys, wanted to get some thoughts on how we could make this group (both free and paid membership) even better value for everyone. Post your ideas/requests below, and drop a like on the requests you like the most! Some prompts: - What could we START doing that we’re not already doing? - What could we do MORE of? - What features would you like to see added? - What do you get the most value from right now, and how could we make it even better? Obviously can’t make any promises in terms of following through on every suggestion, but I can promise that your suggestions will all be considered and we heavily weight user feedback when thinking about improvements.

2 mentor calls pr. month is my wish🙂

@Mark Stone that would be cool also🙂 the biggest drawback for me is, if I bring a song to a call and the mentor says do this or try that. I like to do things when they’re fresh in my mind. But then I have to wait a whole month to check back in to see if I got it right… and then if I got it wrong or something else needs fixing, there’s a whole month of waiting again… I understand that if I join TRE I get almost unlimited calls, but unfortunately I can’t afford that at this time. So for me, I feel that 2 calls a month would really help me step up my game 😀

A weekly Sound Design call with @Damian Baca has been added to the calendar, starting this Friday at 8pm EST / 1am GMT! Music production 101
I'm currently working trough the music production 101. In some of the steps you are asked to download audio files. But when I click on some of the links I don't get the option to download. the download button isn't there... anyone else experienced this or am I doing something wrong?

Question about kick
Yesterday I attended the backstage pass session. I saw someone in the chat suggest to put a gate on the kick. What does that mean? And how do I do that?

ok. so if I understand you guys correctly this is a technique to clean the kick sound, in a way soloing it if it's recorded together with other drums on the same track. But if it's a solo kick sample this would not be necessary?

@Jason Van Deman I see🙂 i'm a newbie to all this and I find drums to be particularly hard... so when something comes up I got to ask. there's tons of stuff to learn, but I hope I crack some codes eventually 🙂
