The feedback I've had from clients who use my AI voice on 11 Labs or Cartesia say that the tool is only really useful for training scripts (where the trainees HAVE to do the company training, and won't complain) or long factual scripts with little or no emotion needed and for rough demo's...but I do encourage them not to do the latter as it's quick and easy to record a real custom demo, and I don't charge for demos.AI voices also can't cope with a sudden non-English name (like you get in tour guides) or unusual acronyms.

Very impressive, Nigel. I think character showreels work better when you see the proposed visuals. Yes send the mp3, as they'll need that for their system, but you can also send a link to the video version as well, on Vimeo or whatever. In the body of the email you'd paste in a GIF which always intrigues for people to click, you'd attach a link to your video from the GIF embedded in the email. Hi William; a neat showreel, well recorded, good choice of music and that music isn't mixed too high. If this is meant to be a compilation and not "Up-tempo commercials" or whatever you'd call it, I would have liked to have heard a bit more variety though. One short clip with a serious piece of narration would be good to add. Clip 4 was the closest to this and I would re-order so clip 4 was after clip 1. Clips 1 and 2 have (to me) a similar voice style. I'd also fade the music faster at the end. The last thing people need to hear is your voice, not music. Maybe re-mix the last clip so music "ends" so it doesn't fade. On real ads, music usually ends and we hear the voice on the fade of the final note. Great showreel though! I'm sure you'll get loads of interest from it.
