I missed posting last week, since I was traveling with the family on vacation to Zion National park and then to Vegas for the ShopTalk retail conference. Our new graphic designer hire continues to shine with project work that is queued up for review when we have a chance to give feedback. It has inspired the other partners in the company and myself to do roll out more JDs and hires starting this week. We'll see how many we can actually do, but if we delegate 80% of tasks to allow us to work on new initiatives, then it will be 5 additional hires.

@Mandy Matsumoto I'm still catching myself on tasks vs projects for true delegation. It's still a learning process.

two wins this week. 1. Forward momentum with the new Graphic Design hire. I have to remind myself about soccer ball delegation. We're traveling for spring break with the kids, so I need to draft projects for the next 2 weeks. 2. I created an automated way to post new Meta Ads, so I'm no longer a bottle neck to get things up and running.

Started working with our first new hire (graphic design) this week. She's educated, experienced, skilled and eager to work. I, however, was woefully unprepared to delegate, so it's back to reviewing the framework for me. I also still need to launch the Ads already made.

Second attempt at hiring with a new job listing. Learned a lot from the first round. Moving the ball down field.

We had the first round of interviews and paid sample submission for a FT graphic designer position. Didn't find someone to hire yet from that group, so trying again with adjustments this week.
