For 2026, the Self Storage Association (SSA) event that in past years was often held in Las Vegas in April has shifted on the national calendar: the SSA Spring Conference & Trade Show is now scheduled for March 18–20, 2026 and will take place at the Henry B. González Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas — not Las Vegas. Separately, the large Inside Self-Storage (ISS) World Expo — a major industry trade show frequently held in Las Vegas in April — is still being held in Las Vegas this year (April 7–10, 2026) at the Caesars Forum Conference Center.

Reading a recent article I thought I would share… According to Inside Self-Storage (ISS), the self-storage sector is showing early signs of a new investment cycle after several years of slower acquisition and development activity driven by higher interest rates. Asset values have largely reset from 2021/2022 peaks, with investor interest increasingly focused on well-located assets and operational upside. ISS notes improving sentiment around acquisitions, a continued slowdown in new development, and a more supportive lending environment heading into 2026.
