Reclaiming Human Agency
Just coming out of this session on navigating AI, Social Fracture, and Polarization it was SO dense and we were deep into reclaiming our capacity to sense, know, and act amid forces designed to fragment our attention and polarize our communities. This session brought together ethical AI innovators withΒ Tristan Harris, Nepun Mehta, experts in embodiment Manis Srivastava and collective sense-making, and practitioners navigating the economies of attention. Hosted by Otto Scharmer and Antoinette Klatzky and social artist Kelvy Bird. I'll need some time to share my notes! Please, I invite any of you who attended to add your own takeaways from any of the speakers that would be fabulous for us all to read. In the meantime, here is the graphic recording that Kelvy put together. I'm still listening to this phrase from Nepun: Love is deep data, with it we trust that inner coherence will lead to social coherence.πŸ’–

Sunday reflection - Grounding into the New
I was in Caux for the first time in 2016 with @Mark Vandeneijdne and @Veronique Sikora Gasser I was there with a cohort of curious people who all wanted to know more about inner development and support people on their own pathes. Mark had developed an assessment, with his then partner Sujith. The assessment, Being at Full Potential was different, it was a fabulous conversation starter to help people understand more clearly the parts of themselves that were not yet fully expressed. Vanessa Smith was the graphic facilitator in the room scribing. She is known for her work at Crafting Connection. This is her illustration and her question. This question is always power packed! Be it in the New Year, when we feel stuck, or when we’re questioning next steps. How does it resoNate with you?

Tuesday Hangout recap
Sarah and I hosted an early morning hangout with our community😊 Thank you to all of you who came! πŸ“―We mentioned the informal nature of hangouts, no formal agenda, and the idea of joining from wherever you are. πŸ€”We listened to challenges about different levels of consciousness and staying in the conversation to reach mutual understanding without retreating, pleasing or being confrontational and the tension of only being in the thinking mind. πŸ—―οΈWe discussed creative engaging ways to introduce the IDG framework πŸ‘·We learned that a safety helmet designed by high schoolers won the Pan African Robotics Championships πŸ† πŸ€ΈπŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ Resources shared idghttps://idg-roulette.incondu.de Ian McGilchrist on left/right brain thinking https://youtu.be/F7c17Q1Owa8?si=PSKN2vwUrjiSfFcS
