How to Build Your First App (and you definitely don't need to be a coder)
I am not a coder but with the AI technology that now surrounds us it is possible to build your own app. It took me about an hour to create from start to finish (Idea to live on the website). Now my client has an interactive lead-capture tool embedded straight into their WordPress site. It was way easier than I expected. The video gives a very general overview of how I did it but I will add a much more detailed video soon as I make more apps. If you head to the classroom I've added a full step-by-step breakdown of how I did it. If youโ€™ve been thinking you canโ€™t do something like this because youโ€™re not technical, you can. The tools are there. Theyโ€™re easy to use. And my way is not necessarily the right way. It was my way to getting something to work. If you give this a go please do share how you get on

The power of vibe coding is incredible! I am a coder and I can say that the quality of code that is produced is spot on, Nd you can produce something in a day that would have taken weeks doing it the old fashioned way after years of learning! You should definitely be using this to speed up the processes in your own business at the very least. Brilliant video example @Emily Barnes ๐Ÿ˜
Made my first YouTube video today
Today I filmed my first proper YouTube video. It covers the four things I think every small business should be doing right now to get discovered online. Not just on Google, but across Pinterest, LinkedIn, AI tools, and the communities where your customers are already having conversations. I will share it here once it is live. But honestly the bigger thing for me is this. Six months ago I would have overthought this for weeks. And then talked myself out of it! Today I just did it. Wrote the script, filmed it, done. I'm trying to be more "Done than perfect." and not worry about being on camera. Did anyone else used to feel this uncomfortable being on camera? Or was there anything else you would talk yourself out of? Would love you hear your stories.....

@Liz Plampton Yeah, I think fear can be infectious! Unusually the anticipation is worse than the doing, and I guess when you do it long enough it's just as normal as making a cup of tea.

The Search Cafรฉ isn't just a classroom. We like to go live too! Two things to know about: ->The Coffee Round is our regular live group call. Bring your questions, share what you're working on, and get direct guidance. No slides. No presentations. Just a conversation where you can ask questions to help you. ->The Refill is a monthly session where I break down what's actually changed in the search and AI landscape that month, and what it means for you. So you can stay current without getting overwhelmed trying to find the information yourself. First dates going into the calendar soon. Watch this space.

What keeps you going when it gets tough?
For me, it's this lovely note one of my kids wrote. They wrote down what they thought my dream was: "Goal: Make Jam. Make ยฃ1 Million" I mean... they're not wrong on the money part. The jam bit is something I love to do when I've time. But I keep this on my desk every single day because it reminds me why I'm doing all of this. Sometimes when the days being annoying, when I'm second guessing something, when it all feels a bit much... I look at this gorgeous bit of paper and it reminds me to keep going. Kids see things so simply, don't they? No overthinking. Just: make jam, make a million. Done. โœ… So I want to know... what's YOUR thing? What keeps you motivated? Maybe it's a goal on your wall, a screenshot on your phone, a person, a feeling, a number you're chasing. Whatever it is, drop it below๐Ÿ‘‡

I'm just a creator and nurturer. I love seeing and celebrating success, which can mean so many things to different people. For me, it having smashed the delicate balance of "work", family, friends, fitness, projects and me time, and the fact that I love every minute of every day. Now I get so much pleasure in helping people discover and achieve theirs.
โ˜• Welcome to The Search Cafรฉ
It's nice to have you here. This is a space for anyone who wants to understand how online visibility actually works now - Google, TikTok, Meta, You Tube, Pinterest - You name it, we try and make it simple for you. No jargon. No tech speak. No one making you feel silly for asking a question. Here's how to get started: ->Head to the Classroom and work through Start Here. It takes five minutes and gives you the full picture of what's changed in search and what this community is about. ->Explore the feed. The Daily Grind is where the main conversation happens. The Tasting Notes is where members share what they've tried and what's working. Have a read, see what others are doing. ->Introduce yourself below. Tell us what you do, where you're based, and what's the one thing about online visibility that's been frustrating you most. I'll go first: I'm Emily. I run Search Everywhere Systems and I help people understand how Google, AI, and social platforms now work together to get found online. I built this community because I kept having the same conversation - people doing great work but couldn't understand why their traffic had dropped. I've been there myself. This place exists so none of us have to figure it out alone. Pull up a chair. Brew, The Search Cafรฉ Barista is glad you're here too. Emily
