Do you ever struggle with addictive behaviors?
As Skool group owners, stress can become normal and addictive behaviors can start to take hold. Even ones like overworking. The best hedge I’ve found to kick addictive behaviors to the curb? Live your BEST damn life! I don’t usually curse, but it felt important to do that to get the point out. When you feel deeply joyful, fulfilled with your work, connected to yourself and your loved ones, aligned with a spiritual path you adore, and frankly in love with your life, addictive behavior falls to the wayside. Not just eating, but any kind of addictive behavior. Why would you engage in something that derails you from living the life of your dreams and makes you feel like crap when you feel really, really GOOD inside yourself? It might still happen, but it’s less likely and you’re much more likely to catch it and shift it quickly. What is one step you can take today, this Relaxation Saturday, to move closer to your ideal life, the life of your dreams? It can be the tiniest step… For example, you can research something you’re curious about. You can write a paragraph or page about what your best life would look like and feel like. You can call a good friend you haven’t connected with for a while. You can take 5 minutes to relax, for the heck of it, even if you have 50 things on your to do list. Whatever it is, take the time and do it. Cuz you’re worth it. And if you want, share your step in the comments to inspire others.
