Seasonal Eating 🍌 🥕
TAKING ACTION: ✅Did you know that eating in season is beneficial for your health? Do you try to eat seasonal foods or have you ever thought about it? Happy Monday, friends! Can you believe we’re already one week into April? Spring is officially here, and I don’t know about you, but I am excited for some warmer weather and vitamin D! ☀️ Speaking of Spring, I think it’s a good time to talk about a topic I’ve never covered before—seasonal nutrition or seasonal eating. 🍓 Did you know that eating in season is beneficial for your health? The average person doesn’t consider consuming foods that are in season, but the reality is that doing so aligns your body with what naturally occurs in nature. Not only that, but foods eaten in season just taste better, wouldn’t you agree? This week, we’re going to talk about some of the health benefits that come from eating in season—and of course, I’m going to give you the deets on which foods you should grab on your grocery runs this Spring! 🛒 It’s going to be a fun week here in our small group space, and I know you’re going to love learning about the benefits of eating in season! Be sure to show up tomorrow for a list of foods that are in season for Spring! 🫶

Rest Day
TAKING ACTION: ✅ Share your rest & recovery day plans with me below! I want to hear from everyone today! Happy Sunday, friends, and happy rest & recovery day! Remember, rest & recovery are part of the equation. It doesn’t matter if you do everything else perfectly if you’re not allowing your body to rest and recover. You can’t build muscle without it, not to mention the fact that without it, you’re headed straight for burnout. 💯 If you’re putting in the work without proper rest/recovery, and aren’t getting the results you desire, consider that it just might be the missing link in your overall plan.

But What If I Don’t?
TAKING ACTION: ✅ How does today’s conversation resonate with you? Have you ever really considered “But what if I don’t?” Share your thoughts below! We’ve been talking about awareness this week, but the truth is that awareness is broad. There are shallow levels of awareness, and there are deeper levels of awareness. We are all at different stages of our journeys, and each of us needs a different intensity when it comes to mindset work. But as I was thinking about the things that matter the most, I asked myself, “What is one question that will resonate with each of you, regardless of what stage you’re in?” I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but I think I came up with the perfect question. Every day when you wake up, ask yourself: “But what if I don’t?” “What if I don’t choose foods that heal my body?” “What if I don’t build muscle as I age?” “What if I don’t commit to my journey for another year—or five years?” You already know the answers to the “but what if I don’t” questions… But as I mentioned earlier in the week, it’s important to answer them. Out loud. And honestly. Doing so will help you become more aware and ultimately, more successful in the long term. It’s easy to turn a blind eye to the answers today. It’s easy to ignore the issues today. It’s easy to avoid the dragon today. But the truth is, one day you’ll no longer be able to turn a blind eye. One day, you won’t be able to ignore the issues. One day, you’re going to have to face the dragon you’ve created. 💯 No matter where you are in your journey, I encourage you to ask yourself this question every single day— “But what if I don’t?”
But What If I Don’t?
AWARENESS + ACTION = RESULTS!
TAKING ACTION: ✅ Read today’s post and share how you personally navigate situations that are out of your control. Also, share your weekly win below! 🎉 It’s Friday, and we’re always up for a little fun around here on Fridays! For one, we always celebrate weekly wins, but generally speaking, our Friday posts are lighthearted and interactive. 🎉 With the weekend approaching (and our conversation about awareness this week), I want you to also consider the following question, and let’s chat about your answers in the comments below. ❓ How do you handle situations that are out of your control? Some examples include: 👉Going to a restaurant that doesn’t have many (or any) healthy options. 👉Going to a party or gathering where you’re not sure what will be served. 👉Getting stuck in a situation where you end up getting way too hungry. 👉Going on vacation and not having access to workout equipment and/or a gym. I’m sure we’ve all been in situations where we feel like we have no control. While these situations certainly arise now and then, I often find that we sometimes also use them as excuses and avoid trying to navigate them. We give up without giving our potential success a fair chance. We turn a blind eye to awareness because the lack of it feels easier. Friends, this will never get you to where you want to be. Awareness + Action = Results 💯
