Why "just joking" never felt like a joke.
I learned two terms today that explained a lot for me—and honestly, it also helped me understand some of my own patterns. So I created a file on it in case it helps you too: Pseudo-hostility and pseudo-mutuality. Most people were raised inside two relational patterns they were never taught to name: Pseudo-hostility shows up as sarcasm, teasing, and subtle jabs disguised as humor.“I’m just kidding.”“Can’t you take a joke?” On the surface, it looks playful. But your body registers something else. The “joke” often carries criticism, dismissal, or underlying hostility. And if you respond to that impact, you’re labeled as “too sensitive.” That’s the trap. This is a double bind—a situation where the real issue can’t be addressed, which makes genuine connection impossible. Pseudo-mutuality is the opposite presentation, but creates the same outcome. It looks like harmony: politeness, quick apologies, “let’s just move on.” From the outside, these relationships appear close. From the inside, they feel empty. Connection is performed, not experienced. In both patterns, there’s a sensory mismatch: What you see (smiles, laughter, politeness) does not match what you feel internally. Over time, this disconnect trains you to override your own perception. You stop trusting your body, your instincts, your emotional reality. That is why these dynamics are so damaging. These terms were identified by psychiatrists in the 1950s and 60s studying highly dysfunctional family systems. They consistently found pseudo-hostility and pseudo-mutuality present in every case. Once you recognize them, you start to see them everywhere—families, relationships, workplaces, even sitcoms. The shift begins with naming it. From there, the work is: - Rebuilding trust with your own internal signals - Allowing real emotional honesty - Interrupting the patterns where they now live within you If you want to go deeper, we break this down inside the Radiant Health Classroom in the Emotional Landscapes folder—how to identify these patterns, how they shaped your nervous system, and how to start changing them.

The 12 Cell Salts and their Zodiacs
Your body is not just chemistry… it’s intelligent, responsive, and constantly communicating. One of the simplest ways to support that intelligence is through the 12 cell salts. These are foundational minerals your body uses every day for things like nerve function, detoxification, hydration, and repair. When your body is depleted in a specific salt, it doesn’t always need something extreme. Sometimes it needs the right support in the right place. This is where it gets even more interesting… Each cell salt also corresponds to a zodiacal pattern. That means your body’s imbalances can reflect not just physical needs, but energetic tendencies in how you process stress, emotions, and life itself. Working with the appropriate cell salt can: • support your nervous system and energy levels • improve detox and digestion • restore balance in the body’s natural rhythms • help you understand your body on a deeper, more intuitive level If you want to explore this more, I’ve put together a new resource for you. ✨ Check out the new file in the Radiant Health classroom → Unlocking Greater Health folder to learn about the 12 cell salts and their zodiacal correspondences. This is where physiology meets pattern… and where awareness starts to change how you care for your body.

🌑 Pisces New Moon — March 18, 2026
Closure. Dissolution. Quiet Reset. This New Moon sits at the very end of Pisces — the final degrees of the entire zodiac cycle. This is not a “start something new” kind of New Moon in the typical sense. It is a clearing point. Pisces at 28° is where things: - dissolve - lose structure - stop making logical sense - ask you to let go without full clarity Before Aries begins again… something has to end. What This New Moon Is Doing Pisces energy doesn’t build — it undoes. It pulls you out of control, out of timelines, out of “figuring it out,” and places you in a space where: - things feel unclear - motivation drops - direction disappears - old patterns surface quietly This is not failure. This is decompression before re-creation. Mercury Retrograde in Pisces — The Backdrop We’ve also been moving through Mercury retrograde in Pisces, which amplifies: - confusion with technology - miscommunication - lack of mental clarity - delays that don’t seem logical But more importantly — it disrupts false certainty. Real-Life Example (What This Actually Looks Like) Over the last couple weeks, I’ve been feeling this directly. We were traveling for about 10 days. Right before leaving, Mercury went retrograde in Pisces… and I decided to redo the website. Predictably — things broke. Then I left, didn’t have access to fix it properly, came back… and it still isn’t resolved. At the same time, there was this internal experience: - no new content coming through - no clear direction - a kind of emptiness - like I hit a ceiling mentally and creatively Nothing was landing. And that’s the key. This energy doesn’t support forcing clarity. It exposes where you were relying on it. What’s Shifting Now As this New Moon approaches — and Mercury begins to move toward direct — something changes: - clarity starts returning - solutions begin to appear - energy starts to reorganize - things that felt blocked begin to move Not because you pushed… But because you allowed the reset to happen.
