🌸Welcome to our brand new Holistic Hormone, Brain and Body Community! Allow me to introduce you to our SKOOL! You'll note your tabs on top: 🗂️ The COMMUNITY tab, where you can post and share uplifting experiences related to midlife and aging and where we post current events, exciting news, hormone, brain & body rewiring techniques and new sections of the courses. 🗂️ The CLASSROOM you will find a variety of interactive, multimedia courses on all topic related to Midlife including how to reverse the aging of your body and brain and rewire your hormones. These come with all our programs from DIY to Premium on topics such as balancing hormones, optimal diets, and self-healing tools, along with information and how to sign-up for PREMIUM programs for those needing (or wanting) more 1:1 coaching support and accountability. 🗂️In the CALENDAR tabs you'll find scheduling for group coaching sessions and timely webinars - ALL FREE TO MEMBERS! 🗂️In the MAP tab you can view where other members live around the world! I encourage you to explore the resources available, participate in our community discussions, and take advantage of our upcoming free meetings and coaching sessions. The 10-Hormone Advantage Program is also now available in the Classroom at the Premium Level Membership (only $9/month) and the Brain Rewire and some of the Anti-Aging Course Material has been upgraded to the VIP membership, which includes one-on-one coaching (only $99/month). 🌿 NEW BEAT ANXIETY MINI CLASS + WORKSHEET ADDED❤️
Almost all of us have some kind of food or diet issue - what's yours?
Whether it's weight challenges, eating too many carbs🍩, not eating enough fiber - most of us have challenges where food is concerned. We may have grown up in a household that ate alot of fried foods and that reminds us of home. Or maybe burgers and fries have been your go to fast food meal when you don't have time to cook. Or making a bowl of popcorn 🍿 after a long day. I've seen it all! It's difficult to admit, but I will tell you my own story: when I was under severe stress in graduate school and isolated from family and friends - I found myself bingeing everyday on ice cream. Ice cream was my comfort food. Unfortunately, or fortunately, it eventually made me so sick I couldn't eat anything. I had horrible gastrointestinal problems followed by a raging fever of over 104 degrees for days. I could barely move to take care of basic needs. I was pretty 🤮 sick! Somehow, I made it through and once I recovered I had no desire to eat ice cream anymore LOL! Years later, I read a story about a small NC town (I think was Ashevile) during the polio epidemic that had an ice cream shop that closed down during the epidemic. The town reduced it's polio cases but noone knows for sure if reducing sugar intake was involved. Dr. Benjamin Sandler, a town doctor, was firmly convinced and research does now support that overconsumption of sugar does lower immunity. Many times we know what we are doing - but still can't stop. My new series on the 10 hormones involved with weight loss and aging highlights some of the reasons willpower is not the solution for many of us and why it is worse for women.
