Your resume is probably getting filtered out before a human sees it. Here's the fix.
Let me explain how technical recruiting actually works.
Most companies especially tech companies use an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to filter resumes before a recruiter ever looks at them. If your resume doesn't contain the right keywords in the right places, it never reaches human eyes.
Here's what happens:
A recruiter searches for candidates by keyword. They type "Python, AWS, React" into the system. If those words aren't prominent in your resume especially in your summary and skills section you simply don't show up.
The fix:
1. Find the job description for a role you want
2. Pull out the top 7–8 technical keywords
3. Make sure each one appears in your resume summary AND skills section
4. Weave them naturally into your bullet points
Quick example:
If the job asks for "Kubernetes," don't just list it in skills. Write:
"Deployed and managed containerized applications using Kubernetes, reducing deployment time by 60%"
Your turn:
