I just read this & liked it enough to share it here.
Love him or hate him, Alex Hormozi is great at business. (If you don't know him, which would be wild.. I do recommend checking him out). Today in his email newsletter, he shared a message that I find increasingly valuable. It's on AI SLOP, and copy in general. It writes: "In this world of AI slop, here’s the biggest content hack I can give you:Cut anything that doesn’t change behavior. This is the lens. Let me show you. Example: Unlocking your true potential starts with embracing a growth mindset and leaning into the discomfort of transformation. At the end of the day, the individuals who truly thrive are the ones who show up consistently, do the work, and refuse to settle for mediocrity. It's not about being perfect—it's about progress. When you commit to leveling up every single day, you create a ripple effect that impacts not just your journey, but the lives of everyone around you.So ask yourself: are you ready to step into your power and become the best version of yourself?" → this is AI slop btw Now, read it and ask yourself:What is this telling me to do? (hard, I know) Answer: Do more than you currently are, everyday. And if that’s what you want people to do, then just say it and delete the rest. This is how you can increase your value per word.Because in a world of infinite content, winning means using the fewest words to say the most.As promised, value in under a minute. - Alex Ok so a few things, It's a great post, the words are very valuable, and the lesson is true.. Don't copy paste ChatGPT - it doesn't land in the way you think it does.... AND, hilariously, when I copied his email into this thread, we can see very clearly that he literally copied and pasted this whole message from Chat (we can tell this from the blue links, even in the bottom lines where it's meant to be him speaking). So Alex is definitely still writing this using Chat, but he has formatted his Chat in a way to sound completely like him, and to sound relatable.
