The Layan Cardigan is a tailored cabled cardigan using fingering weight yarn, and the pattern has just been released! 😍 The name comes from the Arabic word for soft, gentle, and tender, and that feeling carries through the whole design. It is a classic, wearable piece that works well in any wardrobe. The construction as usual is a seamless top-down one, with the sleeve caps worked simultaneously with the yoke, so you can try it on as you go. 🤩 The cable pattern is simple and repetitive and once the top of the yoke is done, it settles into an intuitive rhythm. The double-knit button bands give a very clean and professional finish.
