Feature requests?
Hey guys, wanted to get some thoughts on how we could make this group (both free and paid membership) even better value for everyone. Post your ideas/requests below, and drop a like on the requests you like the most! Some prompts: - What could we START doing that we’re not already doing? - What could we do MORE of? - What features would you like to see added? - What do you get the most value from right now, and how could we make it even better? Obviously can’t make any promises in terms of following through on every suggestion, but I can promise that your suggestions will all be considered and we heavily weight user feedback when thinking about improvements.

aaa for audio. where can membership save you money? ollo, ohmforce, resonic, to name a few. and, did I mention softube? also, I'd like to see more contests with higher stakes, like gear or software. i have an idea for a pretty good one, i think, if you'd care to message/email:)
Look What I Found! What Do You Use Now?
Doing a well needed clear-out and found this. I was introduced to Cool Edit Pro at the start of my brief stint as a broadcast assistant, back in the day. It was a brilliant, really easy to use. I continued using it as my go-to editing software after Adobe bought it in the early 2000s and changed its name to Audition, up until the beginning of this year; the CC subscription became a "want", a rather expensive one and, unfortunately, Audition is a part of it. Which audio editing software do you currently use? Or do you just use your DAW?

I didnt even answer the question, lol. I use rx even though I'm transitioning to wavelab. they have this cool "new" feature where you can "open a clip and directly edit the waveform" from cubase ;) takes two spendy suites to do that now.
Next PC Laptop for Pro Tools?
So, I am going to need to replace my everyday computer with the one I've been using for music production, which means I need to upgrade my music computer. Currently using a Dell Inspiron 15 w/1TB memory and 16gb RAM. Interface is an older Focusrite Scarlett. I've had minimal issues, but occasional freezeups. I'm looking at ASUS (Tuf, perhaps) and plan to bump up the RAM. My questions are: 1. How important is the model, and the processor? I read that Pro Tools does not support AMD processors, so will probably go with Intel. 2. How much difference would a desktop with the same specs make?

@Carolyn Rodea here's an example of a workstation. its got a whole mess of cpu cores, 32gb ram, and a graphics card for business, not play. $1300 is decent for that. https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-ThinkStation-P620-Workstation-Threadripper/dp/B0BXYFB2FL/ref=sr_1_3 I'm trying to get a feel for the market for other reasons and thought of you. here's a business laptop. 14" touch screen with 32gb, $1600. nice. https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-ThinkPad-Business-Touchscreen-Fingerprint/dp/B0FT9SJXPX

Focusing on Moog Minimoog Now!
Today I begin my deep dive into the Moog Minimoog synthesizer! I have a feeling there’s someone out there who uses it every day… knows it very well… If you are that mysterious wizard, then I’m your student. If you’re not, welcome, let's be confused together. Let this new adventure begin! Today I already learned that it's monophonic, designed to produce: thick bass or fat leads. It follows signal chain: SOUND CREATION -> SOUND SHAPING -> VOLUME SHAPING
