👋 Introduce Yourself — Who's In?
The Lefty Reset starts April 1 and I want to know who I'm doing this with. Drop a comment below and introduce yourself. Tell us: 1. Your name and where you're from 2. How long you've been playing pickleball (or if you're just fitness-focused) 3. One thing you want to change in the next 60 days 4. Your DUPR rating (optional — no pressure!) 5. One fun fact about you! I'll go first. I'm Nico, based in Reno, NV. I've been playing pickleball for 3.5 years and coaching for 2. In the next 60 days I want to drop 30lbs and have more energy for my 1 year old daughter. Let's get it! Reply below 👇 and go comment on at least 2 other people's posts. This community wins together.

@Eddie Davidson ooo, playing singles? You’ll be playing against a buddy from here if you’re the same DUPR I guess! (Think he’ll be 3.5, maybe 3.0)Good luck to you!

@Eddie Davidson I got mine tanked playing in some rec shenanigans and then meeting up to play with someone I have never played with at my first 4.0 tournament. We ranked middle of the pack, but really should have won one that we lost-which put us 8th instaed of 5th. Ouch. I get it. My DUPR is just sad now.😂
Suppliments and Medication
Hi everyone! Let us think about the vitamins and minerals we take as we proceed. Like me, I take a multivitamin, my High BP maintenance, and D3 every day. I have recently learned how cod liver oil, creatine, and magnesium is also very essential for health. Can we ask for expert opinion about these as we continue playing Pickleball? Also, preparation and recover protocols before and after playing might also help. Like what to take before playing, and what to replenish after playing. I am assuming our heart, lungs, and kidneys (not to mention the leg and arm muscles) all get worked up everytime we play hard. Thanks!

I am taking collagen and enhanced water flavoring packets enriched with Vitamin B. I’ve had a small spot of skin cancer already once and I saw at the dermatologist to take Vitamin B as a helpful way to reduce occurrence! Wear your sunscreen.:)

@Ben Schleich great combo! Read that those two supplements were recommended to help recover from tendon strains alongside the isometric exercises prescribed. I am making my way back from a quad tendon tear. But, my elbow tendon also needs love. I have a hard time not smashing a pop up for a put away. 🤭 I need to get on the Vit C. (15 minutes before pt exercises or playing!)

The gym for me!
Week 1 Goal — Drop it below 👇
We're just getting started and I want to know: what's the ONE small change you're committing to this week? It doesn't have to be perfect. It doesn't have to be big. It just has to be yours. Maybe it's: - Drinking more water every day - Hitting 5,000 steps - Getting to the gym at least once - Cutting out the late-night snacking Small changes compound. One good week turns into two, two turns into a month, and before you know it you're a different person on and off the court. So tell me: what's your Week 1 goal? Post it below. We're all going to cheer each other on. That's what this community is for. Let's go. 🙌
