Our 4 y.o. Grandson, MJ is our darling!! About a year or so ago he gave @Shannon Koss and me the best combined nickname. You got your: Bennifer Brangelina Kimye and... TomKat But ours is better. To MJ, I'm Pop and Shannon is Nanna. So of course together that becomes... BannanaPop it stuck and we love it. Who else has a great nickname??

Crazy Ruckus — and STOP Assuming the Worst
I was speaking to my friend, Crazy Ruckus this morning and here’s part of our conversation: Me: Aren’t you going to work today? Crazy Ruckus: I left my job yesterday. I couldn’t work for that man after what he said to me. Me: What did he say to you? Crazy Ruckus: You’re fired. Me: 🤔 Hmmm? In other news... NOW on to your assumptions “Your prospect isn’t dodging you—they’re just drowning in everything else.” This is called Fundamental Attribution Error. We assume people’s actions are about them, not about the chaos around them. Your prospect isn’t ghosting you because they’re lazy or shady. They could be: 👉 Busy 👉 Overwhelmed 👉 Dealing with life stuff 👉 Struggling to make a decision Instead of sending the passive-aggressive email chain of doom, assume they’re busy. Something like: "Just checking in—I know things are hectic. I’ve got a couple new ideas since we last talked. When’s a good time to reconnect?" Your stress drops. Your relationships improve. And your deals close more often. Be kind. Especially to yourself. Now go pick up the phone and be of service to someone!!
My first reaction would had been my gif. But then of course to man. I totally know how you feel. But great point. Never forget what the other person could be going thru. You never know what that person may become down the line. A friend...a client...you never know by what we do.

"Be A Better Part of Someone's Day ~ Work Kindly." Let’s go deep on this thought for a second. When all else fails... When you’re unsure of the next move... When motivation is low, clarity is missing, and progress feels stalled... Start here. Not with a new strategy. Not with another course. Not with overthinking your next big move. Start with how you show up. Be a better part of someone’s day. Because kindness is not soft. It’s disciplined. It requires awareness. Presence. Intention. Anyone can execute when they feel good. Point 8 people execute on who they are being... especially when they don’t feel good. If nothing else today: Send the message Offer the encouragement Acknowledge someone’s effort Bring energy into a room instead of taking it This is how culture is created. This is how standards are built. This is how YOU become someone people are drawn to. And put some focus on this next part... When you raise the experience for others, you elevate your own. So if you don’t know what to do next, do this. Be better. Work kindly. Move forward. Who’s one person you’re going to impact today? 👇

Intentionality is a word that comes to mind.
What Does “Community” Actually Mean?
Let’s run a quick social experiment... Everyone says they believe in community. But what does that actually look like for you? Not the idea of it. But rather, your behavior inside it. Do you… • Read posts and move on? • Drop a quick 👍 and keep scrolling? • Answer polls but skip the comments? • Join multiple communities but rarely speak? Or… • Start conversations? • Share what’s real for you? • Challenge ideas? • Build connections? No judgment here...just curiosity. Because I do believe community is powerful... but only if people actually participate in it. So here’s the experiment: Let’s define community together. 👇 In the comments: What makes a community valuable enough for you to actually engage? What gets you to speak up instead of scroll past? And if you’ve been quietly lurking in HuRU...consider this your invitation to step in. Not for engagement’s sake but for what engagement actually creates... CONNECTION! Poll Question 👇: What best describes how you typically engage in communities? No wrong answers, just awareness. But if you wanted more from a community... which one would you choose to be?

Upgrade Your Circle. Upgrade Your Life.
Let’s stop dressing this up. If you’re in a room where: No one is pushing you... No one is calling you out... No one is operating at a higher level than you... You’re not in a growth environment, You're in a comfort zone with better branding. And comfort zones don’t produce elite outcomes. Stop saying OK to average! Having a Point 8 Mindset isn’t about “trying harder.” It’s about who you’re in proximity to on a daily basis. Because when you’re in the right room: 💥Your excuses don’t survive 💥Your standards get exposed 💥Your pace gets challenged You don’t have to find motivation… You get pulled forward by the standard. That’s the difference. Average rooms normalize hesitation. Point 8 rooms normalize execution. Average rooms talk about what they’re going to do. Point 8 rooms are already moving. So if you feel stuck, plateaued, or like you’re spinning... Good. That’s your signal. Not that something is wrong with you... But that you’ve outgrown your current environment. And here’s the truth most won’t say: At some point, staying in the wrong room becomes a decision. So decide. Are you going to keep adjusting your goals to fit your environment... Or finally upgrade your environment to match your goals? 👇 Where are you right now? Be honest.
