Playlist Names -
This is a recent cue I'm working on and I'm deciding on which would be the right playlist for Disco/AC - I checked out Glenn's very thorough "Sync Moods" worksheet and this track leans toward the "Positive" column - which has elements of Hopeful, positive, optimistic, bright, joyful etc . . . . but has a couple of moods from the "Calm Emotional" column. (Peaceful, calm, reflective) - Disco/AC's auto tagging actually lined up with Glenn's "Positive" column. I'd welcome comments as to what kind of playlist this track could go in and what to call the playlist . . . . Maybe call the list "Hopeful-Positive-Optimistic?" - Thanks! https://s.disco.ac/iwxhnwimmypk

Joe this one definitely met the criteria for moods it has a very beautiful and elegant melody the piano and guitar complement each other perfectly. Like I’ve told many others I could hear this in a game like a dialogue scene. Maybe even a show too I’m still in awe about how good that melody was it definitely set the tone for the whole track. The only thing I want to add is there are times it feels like the guitar notes play than like instantly disappear was this intentional? I had to take a closer listen I thought they may of been off grid but it almost sounds like they are cutting out soon as the next one plays. Besides that it real solid work man can’t wait to hear what else you make. You nailed the vibe
Quirky Cat and Mouse Vibes
Hi Sync Vault fam - In the spirit of sharing compositions in progress... I started a piece of music during FAWM 2020 (February Album Writing Month: https://fawm.org); it was titled "You Will Never Sneeze Louder than Me," which was an inside joke about how loud my grandmother used to sneeze when I was a kid (sounded like she was being attacked by a wild animal in her kitchen). I eventually just started calling it "Kitchen Sneeze." Fast-fwd to 2026, I shared the demo with Glenn, and he gave me some really thoughtful and constructive feedback to refine my original sketch. I've spent time working on it recently, and I like how it's turning out. I wanted to share my updated demo with you guys, really just for a vibe check and general feedback. I'm especially wondering what type of sync placement you think this might be good for??? I plan to mix it this weekend; meanwhile, I found a vintage cartoon that sort of supports the bouncy, frenetic silliness of the song: https://s.disco.ac/cefxxcsdfsyt

This is amazing dawn! Truly an amazing piece of work. The video was a nice touch to it. The track has great dynamics I love when everything goes away and that bass line just shines. Also the sounds in the beginning the almost sound like drones or swells. Those where very interesting it gave a nice tension than it drops and it’s a great resolve. I think you nailed the mix too I can hear everything clearly and even was able to hear the bass off just my phone speaker alone. This is a solid piece of work and I’m so glad you shared this with us.
Love to get some feedback
I write in a myriad of styles and flavors, and also would love to collab with folks if they have vocal ideas for some of my tracks. I thought I would try to just pick three songs from my library that give a few different glimpses into the stuff I write. I would love to hear anyone's thoughts and feedback. Thank you in advance. https://s.disco.ac/raqknzbfudsk

Holy smokes dude these are amazing! I love the different styles you have personally the one that resonated with me the most was winter fall. Dude that made me think of a traveler entering a village in a video game. Everything I could imagine it helped paint a picture a fire with other travelers maybe a few shops. You kept it simple to it had tons of space I really think that would be amazing for a game or even a show. The acoustic rampage was interesting kind reminds me of stomp idk if you have ever heard of it. But it was like the more the song went on the more intense it got. Finally shake the foundations kinda reminds me of like a commercial for a sports bar lol I know that sounds crazy but that’s what it reminded me of. Honestly all of it sounds really good quality wise there wasn’t really anything I would say needs improvement. Truthfully I wanna hear more and I would be more than glad to work with you on some projects keep up the great work Adam this was amazing thank you for sharing.

Pick Your One! Look at your catalog right now. Pick the single track you believe is the most sync-ready. Not your favorite. Not your best produced. The one most likely to fit under a scene without fighting the picture. By Monday, post in the community: The track title, what type of scene you'd place it in, and one thing that might be holding it back from being submitted today. Let's go! PS...happy friday!

@Tim Jeffcoat thank you Tim! Yea I felt like it was missing something and than it hit me. There wasn’t much drums to fill in dead space so they worked perfectly
Intro and discussion
Hi everyone! I am 1-day old in vault-years. I like what I see/hear. Like most of you, I've been writing, recording and performing for years. But this is a new adventure and I'm truly excited to take it with you. I'm going to introduce myself by playing one of my songs that most closely shows my 'wheelhouse' - 'Something to Say'. https://youtu.be/zzBDx0IBNm0 It's a song that delves into what ordinary people find in themselves that allows them to become heroes. Where I hope for YOUR help is to shape this new one...'Here'. https://youtu.be/jOn-PLEyjgU It's just at demo stage. And I purposely attempted to get away from my wheelhouse to something more contemporary. Is it contemporary? I've played it for a few people. Feedback is mixed: primarily I'm hearing that the format isn't normal or clearly defined...it seems to meander. I'm still in the honeymoon stage.... so, I love it. How could I make it less meander-y. More verse/refrain-y? Or should I? I see that I've typed a lot! Is this too much for a first post? Let me know. Thx, Tom

Hey tom, honestly no this isn’t too much for a first post welcome. And thank you for sharing your work it’s awesome. Did you mix the vocals yourself? Good to have you here hope to hear some more work from you in the future. Keep up the hard work.
