@Naré Bars Yup I agree it's literally their jobs to put their nations first, but he knows this. I also entirely agree the secondary goals are beneficial for all of us, which he knows as well. He's being disingenuous because he just wants a collection of people saying none of these actions (which helps Iranians) are about helping Iranians. He would never acknowledge that two nuclear nations could have always easily in 47+ years of dealing with this shit, just nuked Iran and walked away without any loss of their lives.... but haven't. He would never acknowledge that both countries would do what they would normally do to a hostile country in war - just carpet bomb the shit out of Iran... rather than selective targeting. He would never acknowledge that literally everyone (but him apparently) separates the Iranian people from the Regime. He knows very well what we would be doing to Iran right now IF the leaders in question didn't care about Iranians or the future of Iran... Iran would have been completely leveled long ago and he knows it. He just pops in here just to talk shit on the only countries taking it to this brutal ass regime and never commenting on any other posts for a reason. Personally I try not to reply to Oscars in here anymore because it's always consistent agenda driven bad faith arguments being made without change. I now been here long enough to get a pretty good idea of who is genuine in here (you being one) and will just try to stick to having conversations with them. I'm good with a "echo chamber" of good faith arguments/debates. "focused on weakening the country a whole while Pahlavi is focsued on giving empty repetitive speeches." ... This is someone that has never supported Reza while pretending to do such. This is someone that consistently advocates for inaction because they are on the side of a brutal ass regime while pretending otherwise. This is someone that just wishes to sway narratives and thoughts of those whom want a free Iran, not someone wanting to do everything possible to move past this brutal regime... for a better future. It's hard for me to not reply but at this point because I'm done with it and id certainly get booted if I did. oof

@Ciro Spirado I agree with everything but the Reza part because he has always been on a redemption tour with or without the west. He wants to return to make his pops and people proud, he literally has no other reason to leave his cozy life aside from that. He is fully aware of the dangers, same as he knew the dangers of being a fighter pilot.
