Went with Nishane Wulong Cha on Day 2. Beautiful citrus and tea that generates a very unique profile. Great performance to be expected from Nishane.

On my way to see my spouse in Puerto Rico and on to St. Barth’s. Wearing Hawas Tropical to give myself that light topical feel. Wes definitely a hard decision but I think I made the right choice.

Giving my decant of Afnan Turathi Blue a shot today. Got a quick first impression of it when I received it a few weeks ago and didn't know how I felt about this clone of Bvlgari Tygar (which I haven't gotten my nose on so I can't compare). This is a citrusy, musky frag, a blue freshie for sure but the one thing I can't shake with this one is the 'funkiness' of the citrus that I get. I've heard descriptions of 'effervesence' or a 'rindy' aspect to the citrus but to me it just smells funky or 'off'. The performance is there, I'll give it that. I'll wait a while on the dry down but it seems this one is not for me. It might not be the scent of the whole day.
