Struggling to open convo's with SaaS business owners
I've been looking into local SaaS businesses. Travis emphasizes on opening with a personal point to get the conversation rolling. Problem is, most of the SaaS business owners I come across has set their FB/IG on private and all they talk about on LinkedIn is the feature they have implemented. Compared to course creators and coaches they seem to live a more sheltered life. I have tried opening with "Do you have open capacity for more subscribers for X?" But I feel like I get lumped in with the 1000 of other marketing agencies pitching them. Any thoughts?

I own a SaaS and I can tell you at different levels of revenue we had different issues, sometimes it was new members, then it was keeping members, then it was onboarding it all changes depending on the life of the SaaS.

@Nick Bandy we had a decent onboarding to start but as we got bigger and bigger and added new features it needed a different onboarding based on what people were joining us for and what they needed and who was using it.
$5 a day ads bring me leads galore.
What?! You can spend $5 a day on ads and get leads and good ones to boot! I'm going to share it on this post, goal here is to make it so super simple that all you ronin can get leads and more and more leads for whatever you want, your own stuff run it for partners so their skools get a poppin... It will be a long post but if you follow it you will be able how to spend low on ads and get big results. For one partner on one of these $5 a day videos we have spent $3,076 and had 1,548 comments... that's 110 potential conversations a month on average ;) You wanna have more conversations? Lets get it... Right so this all starts with one ad, it builds from there but to start you need one ad on Facebook and instagram - this is going to be an engagement ad, we want the video views objective here. List out problems you solve or the offer solves and then next to it, circle 2 or 3 of the ones you know land the most. Grab a piece of paper and under each problem write the what value they'll get from watching this video, a free resource they can get if they comment, a line about who you are and why you are great, clearly state the problem they have, state what they are doing to solve that probelm, why that's not working, how your solution solves this problem, why it does that, then a call to action... That's it, if you wanna go turbo mode? Then do the same for the other problems, now you need no targettting other than the countries you want to do business in, keep an eye on this as FB sometimes goes wild and shows it to others so restrict those. You know if this is working if: > You are getting people watching your video for 35% video view under $/£1 > 40% or more hook rate = 3-second views / impressionsThis tells you how many people stopped long enough to actually start watching. > 8% or more hold rate = often ThruPlays / 3-second viewsThis tells you how many of the people you hooked kept watching deeper into the ad. > You are getting comments Then next step then is to start hitting that audience again with retargetting, so when you have 1K people in the 25 Video View audience you are going to want to retarget them (if you want to spend 5 a day use 3 on the first video ad and 2 on retargetting).
$5 a day ads bring me leads galore.

Case studies
Hey everyone, I've been silent for a bit because I had a gazillion coffee dates that were all generated by my network but were all frogs and it kind of impacted me because I spent a lot of time trying to monetize their social media or trying to come up with ideas to get them started with auctions but they just didn't have the basic requirements and, while I learned a lot by doing this, I'm back to square one and a few more bills to pay lol. I've had a couple of interesting chats recently but the guys with the good stuff I could make money with always ask for a few case studies. Is there a way for me to pull something out of this community and share it with them? Anybody willing to share theirs so I can get started?

Happy for you to use any of the posts I have in here that it can be done. But the key thing like Travis mentioned you are the chooser, when I flipped my thinking to that way of thinking it really made me sit up and take notice and go into those coffee dates differently. They need me, I don't need them I can bring a lot to their community or email list and biz, a test is a game changer too it allows you to see how they act etc... Real life example of that a lady came to me with a 15K email list, proven offer, great testimonials.... on the surface seemed the dream... old ryan would have be all over this dying to get it, she was all over it before we agreed the test, everything I needed I got... then I sent the test emails over... silence... she then replied saying she liked them she would send them.... She sent them wrong. After the first one I messaged and said what she had done wrong, she waited over 5 days to reply... I gotta out of that one all because of the test!

714 > 4,896 Skool Group Members. Auctions and Email.
A partner of mine wanted to move to skool. They set up the group and seeded it with around 700 members nearly a year ago, since then we've grown it the 4,896 members with half of them coming from Skool organic because of the engagement we produced. I'll break that all down in this post for you guys. Ok so a bit of background my partner teaches people in the US who aren't from there to speak better english, to get a better job, get a job, make more friends. He has a podcast, Youtube and we run Facebook ads, we use Laurel Portie's Ads ecosystem (if anybody has any Qs lemme know!) The plan we use is really stupid simple as well to get this amount of people... > Auctions > Posts in the group > Email about the posts He wanted to move everything to Skool. This included killing his highly performing $28 program which was doing very well on ads! After the first auction he noticed that Skool started to send him more people, he messaged me like 'Ryan, that auction most have signalled something to Skool, they are sending us more people...' He was right, his goal was to use this free skool as a holding pen for his higher priced memberships. We put the free lesson he gave away free in this skool. He also has a HUGE back catalog of lessons, so he added a $8 a month level on this skool where you got one every 4/5 days and added a AMA class for paying members every week. We also started to see AFTER the auction people commenting more and more engaged, so I started to turn the comments and DM's to posts, people started engaging even more, guess what? Skool sent us even more traffic... So we just rinse and repeat. Auction. Post. Email to Post. DM everybody. I also DM every new member. Every new member gets this ' here are those free lessons as promised. Quick question…are you looking to just 'get by' with English, or is there a specific goal (like a job or move) that’s making this a priority right now?' I get a gazillion of these everyday, I work through em and am I after shifting and sorting, I want people who want to solve their english now and want to get it better but I have to find out if they have a one of two problems.

@James Richardson 100% thats exactly what it does and its amazing! Especially because they are active in skool already so its not like you have to get people to use it.

Fun golf masters auction idea
I've got a betting / sports trading community. I think I might create bundles of 4 players together who will be competing in the masters and get people to bid for them. I think my audience would love it, do it as a sweepstake so the winner can actually win the total post raised in the auction. I might take a small % of it but more importantly it would be bloody fun in my community and they'd love it. - Start Bundle 1 at £10 - People bid in comments/chat - Highest bid after countdown wins that bundle - Move to Bundle 2 - Repeat until all bundles are gone - Naming the teams as well to make it even more fun! Lowest combine score wins the 60% of the pot. Second gets 30%, third gets 10%....
