Introducing Tasha
Hii I make inspirational and motivational music I feel could fit in Disney and hallmark and Barbie and I’d love to make more songs like that as well as singer songwriter type songs I will send some disco links message me if you’d love to collab or connect https://tgstarlight.disco.ac/share-new/578917600/user/3289097?playlist_id=28702647&signature=B7Ux4GRKcoPOV0OOtDSJDlN0oOI%3Ao5HTyyWS

I can't add more than Joe already shared Tasha, other than to say I can clearly hear the Disney sort of vibe and positioning. If you didn't know it, @Glenn Macrae has a background in music for younger folks and could be a real asset to you.
Playlist Names -
This is a recent cue I'm working on and I'm deciding on which would be the right playlist for Disco/AC - I checked out Glenn's very thorough "Sync Moods" worksheet and this track leans toward the "Positive" column - which has elements of Hopeful, positive, optimistic, bright, joyful etc . . . . but has a couple of moods from the "Calm Emotional" column. (Peaceful, calm, reflective) - Disco/AC's auto tagging actually lined up with Glenn's "Positive" column. I'd welcome comments as to what kind of playlist this track could go in and what to call the playlist . . . . Maybe call the list "Hopeful-Positive-Optimistic?" - Thanks! https://s.disco.ac/iwxhnwimmypk

Joe, as I listen to this I see a teenage girl getting dressed for an event... a picnic, or some sort of date, she is putting on makeup, a pretty outsit, a pastel hairband, it's a nice day out the window of her 2nd floor bedroom, she is smiling and happy, answering texts from friends, hopeful for her event... great music. love the tambo and woodblock alternating. I'd call this upbeat, hopeful, positive, optimistic, bright. Not calm, reflective. I also love how you get right to it... the into is about 1.5 second long, just a sustained note (on a synth?). Well done.
Love to get some feedback
I write in a myriad of styles and flavors, and also would love to collab with folks if they have vocal ideas for some of my tracks. I thought I would try to just pick three songs from my library that give a few different glimpses into the stuff I write. I would love to hear anyone's thoughts and feedback. Thank you in advance. https://s.disco.ac/raqknzbfudsk

Trying hard to finish a track today @Adam Nelson , and it's kicking my butt. I promise I'll get you comments soon. I remember the last time you posted, and they were solid.

Love your production - very clean - and love your music. Sync loves the sorts of riffs you had in Shake the Foundation. I suspect your catalog is full of music that could be very good for sync. Glenn is the expert, but my limit experience says 5 second intro, 90-120 second song, stinger ending. If it features tasty riffs like these, then it will get attention. Winterfall was very interesting, and I heard latin or even arabic percussion in it. You could even keep the perc you already had, but the song seemed to be begging for hand-played percussion... Looking forward to learning from you!
Quirky Cat and Mouse Vibes
Hi Sync Vault fam - In the spirit of sharing compositions in progress... I started a piece of music during FAWM 2020 (February Album Writing Month: https://fawm.org); it was titled "You Will Never Sneeze Louder than Me," which was an inside joke about how loud my grandmother used to sneeze when I was a kid (sounded like she was being attacked by a wild animal in her kitchen). I eventually just started calling it "Kitchen Sneeze." Fast-fwd to 2026, I shared the demo with Glenn, and he gave me some really thoughtful and constructive feedback to refine my original sketch. I've spent time working on it recently, and I like how it's turning out. I wanted to share my updated demo with you guys, really just for a vibe check and general feedback. I'm especially wondering what type of sync placement you think this might be good for??? I plan to mix it this weekend; meanwhile, I found a vintage cartoon that sort of supports the bouncy, frenetic silliness of the song: https://s.disco.ac/cefxxcsdfsyt

Good Lord you are talented Dawn. Someone needs to sign you quickly! It's clean, crisp, such great sounds, love the riser-things, oh my gosh. I just really don't know how many positive things to say. Only thing I can pick at, which is miniscule, is the claps at :25 and 1:35 (the rapid claps). Too on the nose. Could use some diversity in claps. (But I am probably being extra icky since I hear Taxi tell me things like this so often). I also wanted more of a strong cut ending, along the lines of what Matt Vanderbough talks about in his videos. I clearly heard the B-52s. Love it! Going to listen a third time now!

😅I need your help. 😅
I'm working on my own music alongside you. We're doing this together. I just thought I'd remind everyone that's the case lol... and practice what I preach! So here I am asking for feedback. https://s.disco.ac/qnkhejohjcyw PHANTOM: This is a song that at this point is over 10 years old that I wrote with a guy named Vlad Holiday. It was my first proper co-writing session when I moved to New York and original, which is the first song in the playlist, never landed anywhere, and my skills since then have dramatically improved. The second version I started during covid that's a string remake of the original (still planning to get vocals on it)... but I've never found the right male vocalist to get on it. I'm considering singing it myself, although I'd need atleast a week of warm-ups and concentrated practice to get my singing chops up to snuff for this. Do I tackle it myself? Do I try to find another vocalist? Do I do both versions, the string version and an updated version of the more electronic downtempo vibe? The OG vibe worked great for 2010 but needs to be updated for 2026. Originally, the reference was Mickey Echo, if you all remember him (writer of Stay by Rihanna). Who's the reference for this now? This is one of the songs that I'm digging out of the crates and working on refinishing. Would it be helpful for me to break down my process as I work on finishing this in a video that I would share with you all? Let me know your thoughts. Appreciate you all. So grateful for the community that's building and growing here.
😅I need your help. 😅

It won't surprise you to know I love the bass line(s) in the song. Tasty. If you think you have the chops to sing it, then go for it. What have you got to lose, other than maybe a little time? You already have the emotional investment. You didn't tell us what your goal is for this sone - sync, publishing for song pitching, other? And yes, seeing your process would be helpful and appreciated.
