Most TOTAL POINTS in a MONTH!
Big shout out to all who participated with posts, comments, LIKES and shares in our KICKING SKOOL! As you can see from the Leaderboard, we had over 110 points earned throughout the month! Most of any month since K-SKOOL started. Give yourselves a hand 🖐️! Instead of awarding an individual prize to @Ellis Wangelin our top point getter, (Ellis already has more than his fair share of Kickerscamp swag 🤪) ...I'm awarding a prize to the entire community... A CUSTOM 2026 NFL KICKERS POSTER (see attached). If you want a higher res file to print out, just DM me and I can send it to you. I took a little time, consulted ESPN and put together the first of it's kind, the entire NFL kicking line-up for all 32 teams. You'll see a face matched with their age, years experience, height and weight. This is as of today, but given the off season, you can bet there will be some different faces come this Fall! Lots of guys ask me, what's the average size of an NFL kicker. I usually say, "It's me... or it least it was me 40 years ago!" 🤣 AVERAGES: An average NFL kicker is typically about 6'1" tall, weighs 200 lbs, and at his best in his late from 25 to 30. For most college kickers, they'll never actually play in an NFL regular season game, but for those incredible few that make the roster, the average NFL career is just 3.3 years. ROOKIES: Lenny Krieg (NYJ) and Ryan Fitzgerald (CAR) are slated to start in 2026. LONGEST CAREER: Nick Folk (ATL) is still kicking 19 years in the league! YOUNGEST: Cam Little (JAC) is just 22 years old. OLDEST: Nick Folk (ATL) is 41. TALLEST: Harrison Butker (KC) & Charlie Smyth (NO) are 6'4 HEAVIEST: Matt Gay (NV) is 232 lbs. SHORTEST: Cairo Santos (CHI) is only 5/8. LIGHTEST: Jake Elliott (PHI) is just 167 lbs. One of the toughest professions on the planet... there are only 32 jobs in the world as an NFL kicker. I know, I was Mr. 39. 😭

WATCH THIS ROUTINE (turn on the sound) Like you, I knew nothing about this little 8-year old cheerleader, but what she goes through with her dad is something to behold... and as a kicker, I know you've felt just like she did after messing up when the spotlight was on you (and you felt you let your team down). It would have been so easy to simply hug her, let her cry and walk her off the stage. Instead, dad (her coach) helped her reframe the moment, compose herself, and muster up true courage to try again. And what's interesting to me, is that she didn't exactly nail the first trick back (and man does he help)... but she held tight and then gained rapid fire confidence to finish the rest of her stunts — and after, the pride she must have felt to succeed in front of a cheering crowd — beaming. 🤗 FAILURE IS ONLY an outcome that you allow to stand. It only takes the next try to SUCCEED. Which do you choose? How quickly can you regain your composure when something goes bad? THE THREE B's: • Breathe (in through the nose, out through the mouth 3X) • Bounce (move, jump up and down, feel your athleticism return) • Break (clap your hands, say 3,2,1 go!) ....is a quick way to reset and reframe your situation. You can't fix the past. You can prep for what's next. You can "trick" your brain into believing that the stress you're feeling is NOT fear of failure, but the EXCITEMENT to try... so try, try again. 😇 *** One last thing — unlike Lil' Miss Soy Sauce — who had the entire crowd behind her, you will only half of the crowd behind you... which means MAKE or MISS, you will ALWAYS have someone cheering for you! 🤣 Besides, you said you wanted to be the kicker. So truly ENJOY each opportunity. 🏈 "Hey, hey, hey, hey! This is just for fun." 🤪

2026 Kickerscamp.com Schedule 🏈
My full schedule of kicking and punting camps for this Spring & Summer is now finalized. We have camps in Wisconsin, Minnesota & Iowa! 12 camps, combines and competitions in total! For more info, go to the Mike Farley's Kickers Camp Summer-Camps page! NOTE: My camps are designed for middle & high school kickers/punters to get great personalized instruction : • to actually perform better • to earn your coach's trust to get more chances to kick • to better handle in-game pressure I employ college counselors to help out and I won't let you kick your leg out! 🤣 And if you're looking for exposure, I have three opportunities for you: 1) ) WLC Ignite Combine on 4/30 (I head up the specialist staff) 25+ NCAA coaches in attendance. 2) Minnesconsin MEGA CAMP on 6/17 (I head up the specialist staff) 60+ NCAA coaches in attendance! 3) Midwest Kicking & Punting Championship on 7/17 (I run the show, — 1000's of views on YT)! Check it out! _ _ _ If you can't make it to my camps, I highly recommend that you find a kicking camp in your area to go to. Mostly, we teach the same kinds of things, the difference often is how many reps you get and how personalized the instruction is for you. Even at showcase-type camps, just having the opportunity to compete with others who are both worse and better than you is great practice prior to your Fall football season. I don't endorse others kicking camps, because I don't go them (I'm busy enough with my own, thank you 😇), but you can certainly Google "Football kicking camps in my area" and you're bound to see a few pop up!

First 4-point field goal
A new UFL rule awards 4 points for a 60+ yard field goal. Here is the first one. Do you like this rule and should it be adapted anywhere else?https://www.instagram.com/reel/DWb2TP_kv5m/?igsh=MXYxdjB2cjRqbnplMw==
Progress
Today I was looking back at some old film from October…and it’s crazy to me to think how far I have come. The first video that is attached was my last game of the season, looking back at it I thought my height was good, but it was just average, and the second video was me kicking just a few days ago with some of the pieces advice I’ve gotten from some of you. I am really exited to see what this summer brings with my progress and I hope to get even better from here!
