Glad you started this up again!
What's your rest day like?
I planned today to be my full rest day. Both training and work wise, meaning I only had a short recovery run to do, no strength training. I accidentally walked almost 20k steps (oops)! I guess I enjoyed the sun in London too much and just kept walking and walking! I'm also working on giving myself at least one day off work a week to fully switch off. I find it extremely important as a business founder, when you could technically work 24/7 😜 How do you "do" your rest days? Do you ever struggle to rest and take some time off? Both physically and mentally? Share your tips below - I want to hear how you take care of your health!

My rest days are little bit different than yours just because of the stage of life I’m at. On my “rest” days I can’t wait to get outside or do something active. The weather is starting to turn nice around here so I’m going out for runs again. Plus, mentally, I try really hard to be present and not think about the laundry or cleaning that needs to get done. There is always time for that later, or at least there is another side to my underwear 🤣.

@Ania Drozd that’s why attention has become the most in demand commodity. A lot of people turn to exercise now because the necessary focus quiets the thoughts.

The no pain, no gain belief. That the harder your push yourself during recovery the quicker you’ll recover.
Quick Introduction
As my bio states, I'm a husband and father of two, trying to stay healthy and fit, but having to overcome some back injuries I sustained many years ago. In the past I've participated in surfing, rock climbing, endurance gravel racing, triathlon (completed 2 Ironman races), trail running, etc. However, now looking just to heal, improve my mobility and sustain an agile and healthy lifestyle.

Protein Oats Recipe
What is your go-to breakfast? I have been recently obsessed with my simple protein oats (you can find the recipe here: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DFAO6lrow9n/?igsh=ZXB5cWducHd6ZzF1). What's really important to me is that 1) it's simple and easy to make, 2) it has all the macro and micronutrients I need. And my protein oats do the job 😁 If you have any quick and simple recipes, comment below!!!

Protein Chocolate Mousse (with Tofu) - It's a Veg World After All® This is definitely not going to hit all your macros but I feel is a great way to add a sweet healthy treat for people looking to get more protein into their diets. Plus the dark chocolate delivers a big anti-oxidant punch.
