Analyze your sales to find a development direction
A small yet powerful tool was added today to Publisher Tools at RoyaltyGuild.com: KDP Sales Analyzer. KDP Royalty Estimator is good for seeing sales for a period, but it offers very limited options for seeing trends. Publisher Champ is a great solution, but it could be overwhelming with the amount of reports it provides. To make decisions about the development of our portfolios, we need to see the key data and trends. You can visit https://kdpreports.amazon.com/royalties, open Start Date, choose Lifetime, and click the big button Download report on the right. After you save the report file, drop it into https://royaltyguild.com/tools/sales-analyzer, and you will see the most important data in a very intuitive format. The service does not save any data on a server; all data is processed in your browser. And it's free for everybody. Enjoy!

@Igor O This looks like a very useful tool--thank you!🤗
What is on your mind?
The last two weeks were unusually slow and silent in the Guild. I am not sure, but it feels like there was less activity in most of the communities I am involved in. Is it just my perception, or have you experienced the same? Anyway, the Guided Publishing System is now built and fully operational. I am in the process of creating the new book with the system, and it works exactly as it was supposed to - "blank page syndrome" gone. Every time I come back to the book, I know exactly what the next step is. The same thing applies to the Review Catalyst tracker - it removed a lot of hustle and ambiguity from the process. I used the Paperback 3D Mockup for the A+ content for a few of my books, and it totally changed the experience of creating marketing materials. I am not sure if it's interesting to anybody except @Yannick Di Mondo, @Sven Georgiev and me. Anyway, it's OK for me to continue developing the tools, even if only three of us will use them. Slowly, without a rush, providing functionality that publishers are interested in. So, what is on your mind? What are you doing now? What are you aiming for? P. S. @Ana-Rita Piirainen It's so nice to see you back!

@Yannick Di Mondo @Laura Diaz My Daytimer not only lists activities for the day/week, but it also has a space for prioritizing tasks in order of importance. Now if I only had time to reflect and prioritize amid putting out fires!😇
What if you were able to do a photo shoot for your book?
We all need a lot of different photos of our books for A+ content – different angles and different book positions. We all want to be able to create video ads for our books, using different angles or showing a page being flipped. We need green screens to fit them into custom backgrounds in our video editors. It requires a lot of shoots and a lot of work. But what do you do if the book is not published yet and you do not have a physical copy in your hand? There is likely a solution. See you today at 15:00 UTC at the meeting. It will be: 7:00 (PST) in Los Angeles 8:00 (MST) in Denver 10:00 (EST) in New York 16:00 (CET) in Berlin 23:00 in Singapore

@Igor O Looks interesting but the "music" is ghastly--VERY distracting from the content. I had to replay with the sound off before my mind could wrap around what you're saying.

@Igor O OK, I liked the demo but not the "music."
How to produce images of our books in seconds
A+ content, Facebook, Instagram, your own website, TikTok, video ads... There are a lot of places where we need photos and videos featuring our books, but not enough time to produce them. Now, if you have an Amazon-formatted PDF with a cover and a manuscript, you can create the necessary materials for your book in seconds. What kind of images or videos will you create first?

@Stephen Shapiro @Yannick Di Mondo @Igor O This is definitely food for thought. I like this idea for when I get a few KDP books under my belt! In fact, it makes me think I should dust off a few of my out-of-print collection of published books and submit them to KDP in June (too busy with KDP Royalties Club projects and getting my dogs ready for the May dog shows until then).
Online Meeting February 27th, 2026
Thank you so much to @Thomas Juuls and @Ljubitza Kouris - it was a great meeting. @Suzanne Smith was with us at start, unfortunately, she left the meeting soon. It's sad that due to technical imperfections caused by moving the meeting to Friday, we were deprived of the opportunity to see @Yannick Di Mondo at the meeting. We discussed Guided Publishing System in deep. Premium tier members can watch the recording 🎦 in the Classroom. The main topics we discussed was: Core Philosophy & System Design - User-Centric Flexibility: Unlike many AI publishing tools that hide their processes, the GPS is designed to give users control over the specific Large Language Model (LLM) they use, such as Gemini Pro, ChatGPT, or Claude Opus. - The "Recipe" Framework: The system operates on a "recipe" model, where data files (market data, Book DNA, Reader Avatars) serve as ingredients and prompts as instructions. High-quality results depend on the precision of both. - Human-Led Creativity: Following the Pareto (80/20) principle, the system delegates "boring" heavy lifting to the AI while keeping the user in charge of creative taste and strategic decision-making. Quality vs. "AI Slop" - The Problem with Generic AI: "One-button" AI solutions often produce "AI slop" – low-quality content that consumers can easily distinguish from professional work. - Data Integrity: "Garbage In, Garbage Out." Generic data leads to generic results; it's important to upload their own specific research (e.g., from tools like KDP Scout) to get actionable insights. Key Tools & Functionality - Avatar Distiller: This tool generates highly detailed Reader Avatars based on a Book’s DNA. This allows publishers to "test" covers and marketing copy against an AI model that simulates their target audience’s specific demographics and habits. - Niche Finder: We discussed how using specific, user-collected niche data (rather than generic best-seller lists) dramatically improves the AI's ability to find profitable publishing opportunities. - KDP Ads Scenario Calculator: A tool designed to help publishers simulate different advertising outcomes to decide whether to continue or stop specific Amazon ad campaigns.

@Igor O Have you set Fridays at 10 EST in stone? It's in direct conflict with the same time for Royalty Makers KDP Book Club's established Friday meeting, and you, I, and others here are members of that group.
