Hello and Introduce Yourself
Plate color!
I’ve noticed plate color can really change how a dish feels before you even take a bite. A bright dish pops on a white plate, while darker plates can make certain foods look richer and more dramatic. It’s a small detail, but it can completely shift the presentation. If you have the chance to choose, do you ever think about plate color when serving your food?

Food Plating
Food plating doesn’t have to be complicated to make an impact. Even small things like spacing the food, adding a little height, or keeping the plate clean can make a dish feel more intentional. People really do taste with their eyes first, and presentation sets the tone for the whole meal. Do you usually think about plating, or just focus on getting the food to the table? How else do you make your food more attractive?

Hunger for Lunch
Sometimes choosing a restaurant that fits our diet can be difficult. It depends on where we are and maybe pressing for time, we tend to make decisions based on our google maps review. But after many "mistakes" we found out a better way of finding good deals and great places to eat no matter where we are..... Ask a local. We were fueling our vehicle and had asked the pump attendant for a recommendation. Since this is the first time at this restaurant, we decided to order less and see its portion. Came to find out, it was just the right amount and we love that bright orange egg yolk! We were also watching other customers that were just drinking and they got their free tapas. The bar/restaurant had an incredible selection and sometimes, in such places, we would not even order food because having a drink and a few free tapas is all we needed! So next time you travel around, ASK a local. You might be surprise!

What Would You Do
with this pork meat that looks like this? It is from a breed of pigs that's been labeled as chestnut fed. I'm not totally sure how they feed the pigs but I think they are fed with a mix diet that includes chestnuts. Either way, just my looking at this cut, how would you cook it? I love those fats intermingled with the meat!!
