Therapists, clinicians, caregivers, doctors, and high achievers often carry emotional stories, responsibilities, expectations, and the pressure to always be strong — quietly and every single day. Burnout is not always loud.Sometimes it looks like being productive but exhausted, caring but empty, strong but overwhelmed. If you are someone who carries a lot for others, this is your reminder:You are allowed to put the weight down sometimes.You are allowed to rest.You are allowed to be human, not just strong. 60-Second Reset
If your nervous system feels overloaded today, try this: 1️⃣ Inhale slowly through your nose 2️⃣ Pause briefly 3️⃣ Exhale longer than the inhale Repeat 5 times. Longer exhales signal the nervous system that it’s safe to downshift. This is one of the simplest ways to interrupt a stress spiral. Check in: How do you feel after 5 slow breaths?

Wednesday...get over the hump
Ahhhh...when I worked corporate, or for other people in various counseling practices, I always loved Wednesdays because it provided a burst of energy knowing there were three workdays left then I could have more unstructured time. I also learned over the years that I do need some structured time to get things done (while as a kid I just wanted all unstructured time.) How attuned are you to your energy? Do you need a reset midweek? Does Wednesday get you excited because you work m-f and the weekend is almost here? Or...are you able to keep your energy flowing throughout because you are in alignment with your purpose? Let us all know what Wednesdays do for you.
